@@dagryffynhobby my collection is a total mish mosh of era's, brands and scale and semi scale sizes. Ready to start selling some if it and concentrate on getting all postwar. I have alot of 'scale' sized engines and rolling stock, but it's just not the same as the postwar stuff. I have quite a bit of MPC too and that I don't mind. I grew up in the 60's and 70's hence all the MPC!

Looks and works great...but, it is so simple won't you be tempted to hot glue LEDs everywhere? I know I would...every engine...every caboose...how about reefer doors so they look like their cooling (like the expensive stuff)...back-up lights on every steam tender. Excellent work as always! T4

The KISS system: "Keep It Simple, Stupid". Good work. I was hoping you would do that with the synced-up 2032s. Are those the same motors as are in your Trainmaster?

Found it! Have to watch this one again :) So they look unique to them, and have that power truck layout like some of those later lionel's? I have a NYC with the two can motors. Just the shell has the mounting tab in front & one screw in the back like old school Lionel. So I guess the KLines are derived from something else?

Very nice work. I appreciate the description on wiring the bulb to the other parts. Do you have an installation video tip to add an additional motor, or a Lionel Pulmor, that is equipped with Lionel MagneTracktion motors? I'm not very good with hot glue guns. Would you suggest Aileen's Tacky Glue? Aileen's is a white glue as Elmer's Glue, and Aileen's has a thicker consistency than white glue. I'm unsure if Elmer's makes a tacky glue?
@dagryffynhobby
@dagryffynhobby 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I have not tackled a motor swap project but I can add that to the list of ideas. As far as hot glue, there are low temp and high temp guns and glue, the low temp dries too quickly, you may have better luck with a high temp. I haven’t used the tacky glue but people have definitely recommended that as a better option, maybe the woodland scenics variety. My theory is go with what works for you.
