dandre ceff If you re-read the original comment it says it’s “obviously live”. I was correcting that, not asking anyone their opinion about whether it’s her singing or not. It’s obviously a track that she was lip synching to. That’s all, and that was the point ...but thanks anyway 😒 👍

D Lee as a singer I care. I don’t get to lip sync. It’s a perfectly tuned performance guaranteed. It’s cheating at its finest. A performer has one job: Perform. You can clearly hear when she’s really singing vs not. Night and day. She’s paid millions, to cheat.

She’s clearly singing live and sounds great. It’s no live instruments so what you’re hearing is the back track and her singing over it. There was no instrumental.

So for those who doubt that it's mixed vocals (live and pre-recorded melodyne/auto-tune) here's and example. So from the beginning it's pre-recorded melodyne/auto-tune then right at the 2:02 mark she sings LIVE in till 2:11. Then right after @ 2:12 "Daddy" the melodyne kicked right away!! Then at 2:19 she forgot n got caught lip Syncing. But overall she DOESNT need it . She can naturally do the runs and yodels without the assistance. So it sounds very pleasing to the ear when they melodyne her vocals

These producers make it so obvious which parts are live and which aren’t. If you have ears that function then you can hear the difference not only in her voice, but the quality in the feedback, the microphone sound, the echo, the volume… the track will become louder and clearer when the recorded parts come on. And it’s generally on higher belts. But when she talks or has lower notes it’s a bit more muted.

01:37 the line “make love from the night until the early morn,” is obviously live and sounds somewhat muted or muffled. Then the next line “waking you up like some Folgers in your cup,” is suddenly brighter, crisper and more echoey than that one… it just is bad editing! I’m not anti lip synching. I agree with Wendy; give me a good show if you do… like if you lip synch, make it convincing! Cause there are those of us who can see and hear thru it!

Okay here's the thing when you're a bona fide singer / vocalist and you are told to Sing Your Face Off in any performance that you do, you do develop a little bit of horseness in your voice do 2 non sleep sometimes exhaustion and sometimes you don't get to really warm up as you want to so that's why she had them backing tracks to help her get through the song so let's not come at her because she was lip-syncing because at the end of the day that was her voice on the track so keep the shade to yourself she did a good job the song is powerful aswell as the performance so why hate on her?
