Normani said she did the back flip in an interview. She was a gymnast from the age of three so I believe her. Maybe this hallie person who keeps claiming to do it did another stunt.

The thing that I really like about these two is the fact that they have such a very open mind. They don't judge when they react to music video and you can truly see that they're genuinely trying to understand. I was literally waiting for their reaction , they're the best 😔❤

Ugh I love this video and of course your reactions were great as always haha! You guys should look up all the hard work she did for her music video! She learned the choreography in two days in the middle of her tour and only had four hours of sleep. The scene when they’re dancing in the neighborhood they did it without music and only with an eight count!

I was the exact same as Son. The video made me like the song. Also, there was a lot of controversy on Twitter when she released this song, a lot of people felt like she should have done an R&B song instead of a pop song and it sparked a debate about which musical genre’s black women (especially darker skinned) were “allowed” to occupy. Personally I loved that she went Pop! Just a little more insight into the release of the song. Also last but not least: SON, I LOVE YOU ❤️ 😘

The use of brass in the song is a very Southern Black American thing. It's cool you noticed and liked it! She has a lot of really good Black American references in the song, some older and some more modern.

Many people say she’s the next Beyonce also the MV was a tribute to early 2000s r&b music videos since she grew up on that music. The beginning where she is walking is a tribute to Beyoncé’s crazy in love intro MV.

Whats also great about this video is she is paying homage to some of her fav artist growing up. Some of the scenes were inspired from other popular videos from the 2000s such as omarions touch, ciara's get up, j lo im real, britney hit me baby one more time, Beyonce crazy in love, and I think even the movies You Got Served and Step Up. The tv show she is watching in the beginning was a very popular black musical countdown program that used to come on BET.
