if only the kpop fans were not treating their artists like their husbands or boyfriends maybe the companies would give the freedom to date P.S: even though there are a percentage in ARMY as well but BTS and ARMY are not considered kpop group or fandom. BTS is BTS and ARMY is ARMY, since the kpopies expelled us from the kpop community in 2018. so we are an independent fandom and group.

It is sad to see that we are still seeing things like slave contracts in 2023, It is getting better but not at the pace you'd expect, K-pop companies should definitely start treating their idols like humans. It will also encourage them to perform better instead of taking hiatuses due to anxiety issues.

As a BTS Fan,I know all the dark secrets of k-pop and KDrama industry... And infact that's why I have immense respect for my Idols... They are here after facing so many obstacles and hurdles... And truth is that,even if I'm a big fan of BTS,I never wished to go South Korea... I'm happy here in India ,happy as a BTS Army.......💜💜

As a kpop stan for 5 years straight..I really appreciate Nikita for explaining everything very clearly..it's really hard to become a kpop idol your company as well as your fans will handle your whole life.. your single mistake can ruin you and your image..Also Fans play an important role in that..Nowadays in kpop compared to old generations of kpop companies like big4 (yg,sm,Hybe,jyp) don't really force their idols to do such things but other companies do! But sm ent. does force their idols to get plastic surgery.."If you're not beautiful sm ent not gonna select you although you're more talented than others" bambam from got7 said in his show..And about fans..Fans have ruined many idols lives The latest example is garam from lesserfim (A girlgroup) they have debuted in 2021 with 6 members but the one member got involved in bullying scandal and proved guilty by the court but fans of other groups cyber bullied her of being a bully although she was innocent and that girl was only 16yrs old and then she got kicked out of the group..Fans and company are the reason behind all the ruined image of kpop

In BTS's book it was mentioned that jungkook's age was 12 when he was recruited while other members were adults. That's the biggest k-pop group!

But Moonbin didn't committed suicide he passed away because of heart attack Hope he's in a good place wherever he is now we'll be missing him forever 💝

I am a kpop stan for more than 6 years now. At first I was in the thought that they might be living their dream life and there is no word like STRUGGLE in their dictionary after they succeed. But when I slowly came to be aware of the kpop culture and world more deeply, I was surprised as well as I pitied them sometimes. Even though the breathtaking dark side of kpop never stopped me from staning my idols but yes it made me understand that no country or job is ideal...

Their story is literally heartbreaking but it also depends on the agency you serve for although all the agencies are more or less same when it comes to training but after they are an idol and have a good status in the industry the agencies stop themselves. For example:- Hybe Entertainment

That was not suicide in case of *Moonbin* . I agree that astro have gone through many things just like all the other idols but moonbin would never do that. He himself resigned the contract with the company just a month before . He had some *health issues* and we all saw the *symptoms* like *nose bleed* (not once but many times) , *stomach ache* etc. Onscreen, But he just laughed it off and didn't take it seriously and so everyone else. For sake of all the arohas(astro fans) and his own mother, please don't call it suicide just because anyone else on the same situation did so . His mother was so sensitive about this assumption made by people so please stop it

It is Glamour that attracts people. Every industry that looks glamorous outside always has something bad inside. It is good career-wise, but knowing everything about the industry is better before choosing it. In India also we have movies like Heroine, Fashion and Dirty Picture that shows inside of Industry. Again I am saying, Its not bad, just know it inside and out, then Go for it. Every coin has two sides.

For me, it's not just in the K-pop industry. The positive and negative sides exist in every music or entertainment industry what we can do is be aware, and have the knowledge and facts of things, and the so-called idols we follow, just don't live in delusions.

Would to like mention Moonbin from astro death reason is still unknown And its sure that he didnt commit suicide cause he was preparing for his new album release... He was the happiest person And if you could see his last live also you can clearly see how he was Many thinks its cause of company of astro group who made their artist work 24 hours with sooo much intense load I even think its company fault! Moonbin was having previously health issues but couldn't have a break and had to work for his upcoming projects... (Im not opposing but better to do some more research when you bring topics in your video and talk about it.....cause its been few months of his death...and still no reason to be found or statement given by family....so its sensitive topic to be talked about.....hope you understand )

Got me back to the times when BTS were in their training! The way they got through all the hardships! This is what we talk about when some stupid people say that they're nothing but just some "Gays singing stupid meaningless songs". These are the hardships and hardwork we talk about! Honestly speaking , their company do this to get them know the value of living independently, worth of money , to be disciplined, to struggle to be dedicated to achieve their goal!!!! The kdrama _Doona!_ based on the webtoon _The Girl Downstairs_ is a good watch to explore the damage being an idol can do. A lot of the times, knetz can be exponentially worse than the management companies, which forces the companies to force them harder towards the things they don't want to do... it is a whole vicious cycle. On top of that, South Korea is notorious for fad diets, colorism and _Lookism_ (an actual k-webtoon) and they look down upon SEA and SA. Even white westerners are looked down upon. 1:16 the company takes the money as the trainee debt, these the expenses that company paid during the idol’s training time and it is said that while training days companies don’t take any payment but when they debut, the idol has to pay the debts and which is further used for the trainees and when the debts is fully paid, there’s no need to give their income to the company

thanks Nikita, I'm not K-pop fan anymore. I can't accept and admire all the glory after knowing it. I love my country and its songs. And I really hope our govt. or entertainment dept. stops k-culture from growing in Indian YOUTH. Just searched after this video on net and found ppl are missing and even suffering mental issues due to influence of high beauty n delusional facts through K-drama and KPOP (especially).

The reason why I have grown deep respect for Idols is because of all these endurances. And l love k-pop music specially cause most of their songs doesn't have sexually explicit genres. And they don't specifically promote nudity, unlike our Bollywood songs. I stopped watching Bollywood movies way back. Indian music is so diverse and we have numerous rookie bands, groups, soloist in India, but everything overshadowed by Bollywood, going unnoticed. The way, K-pop took over the world is because how modernized, westernised they become, they will still be promoting their culture and language. Hope, if we stop glorifying Bollywood and focus on real talents, gems, we are more likey to go global. Surprisingly, because of K-pop, I came to know many bands in India, which make me feel ashamed of not being aware.😢

We all know suicide word is something doesn't know how to say but he didn't commit suicide he had some disease and was on medication. Moonbin's death was due to medical reasons😔🥺😔 He didn't commited suicide

well you are right about dark side of kpop but it depends on you that which kpop agency you would chose for yourself .Just like an army officer kpop artists have to train themselves. Just like army and military trainees do not earn much and kpop artists have same situation too.
