Saw the show in Berlin last week. She is so beautiful, sings perfect and nice to the crowd. I love her so much and hope to see her again. I lovlove Hotel Del Luna and My Mister. And the movie broker is worth to see. She acts wonderful and all movies with her are amazing.

When IU concert tickets went on sale in my country, it's reported that 700K people were online at the same time trying to get a piece of the 20K tickets available...I was lucky to attend one show and I don't think I've ever felt this happy in a concert (and I've been to quite a few, from Bruno Mars to Lady Gaga to Billy Joel to Springsteen...). IU is truly the best!

Just came across this, 100% agree :) I had one of the raised seats at the left of the stage so we were more or less at the same height of the stage (also, RIP wallet) and it was an overwhelming experience being both that close to her to be able to make eye contact multiple times but we got the best of both worlds as you had the crowd volume coming at you from one side, with seeing and hearing her performance up close. Also, I'll agree with saying it was surprising overall for her I think, as she kept mentioning how she was thinking it was a hidden camera show with us all being paid to be there by EDAM 😁 seen a lot of artists over the years, never felt emotion like it watching her.

Thank you for your comment about IU! I have never ever followed a celebrity before in my life until I learned about her. For all the success she’s had since her teenage years, she has stayed humble and down to earth. Also is such a genuine person and has donated millions of dollars to those in need over the years. Her talent goes without saying but most of her fans’ affections towards her go way beyond just her talent.

I've been to IU's concert in the Philippines, I was luc77y enough to see her up close. I was mesmerized not ony by her voice but also by her beauty. She's so adorable too! I made a promise to myself that I should be present everytime she does a concert here. Her concert was the first concert that I have ever attended and I'm glad that it was. As a fellow UAENA, I gladly welcome you! This year's generation is officially called Luc77y, a nickname given by IU herself 🥰

IU has an English teacher & her English name is Lily. I think she said after performing at KCon in the US that she would learn English to better converse with the audience as it was her one regret then. She always performed with a live band and had an orchestra at the The Golden Hour concert.

Finally got to watch this after seeing IU in Washington DC last night. I wanted to avoid spoilers haha. I don't know how to describe how good it was. Just incredible. The crowd was great too. I don't know if I've ever heard an audience go wild as much as we did when she transitioned straight from Above the Time into YOU&I. It was just magical. Other highlights for me were Obliviate and in the En-encore Knees. Two songs from my favorite albums Modern Times and Chat-shire. Two interesting things about this concert were that IU's flight got canceled from Atlanta so they had to drive 11 hours to get to the venue. The other thing is that IU's mom and dad were at the concert! I'm not sure how many shows they were going/have gone to on this tour but it made me happy that they were there. She said she was glad we were cheering so much because it helped "save face" in front of her parents. Like you said, love her sense of humor lol. Incredible experience. Made the 5 hour drive worth it!

Hi @K-Ross just came across your reaction to IU's London concert 100% agree with what you said, I was at her concert as well, and I felt so privileged to be there, and I'm hopefully going to be at her concert in Seoul in September If I can get a ticket that is, I've been following IU's career since 2018, and I can honestly say she is the best actress and singer to come out of South Korea in my opinion, the woman has got so much talent as an actress she will outshine any European actress as you said you can see her acting in her Love Wins All video but when you get to see Hotel De-Luna you see how good she really is, I think someone's already commented my Mr is a brilliant drama and no matter how IU looks in her acting roles she is a beautiful woman and to see her up close in real life she just takes your breath away, I could go on, but I think I said enough great reaction, and you got a new subscriber.

Oh! What an enviable thing it is to be able to attend Ji-Eun's concert in London in person! After all, there are too many people who want to go but have no luck...😑 In Taipei, there are 700,000 access attemps in a few seconds to competing for 20,000 tickets. That's really a bloody ticketing war.😂

I loved your story!!! I was in Berlin exactly a week ago (in a spot very similar to yours, I think), and it's still all so surreal... I would just like to talk about that at any time of day or night 😅 As soon as the Berlin concert ended, IU wrote on her fancafe (it doesn't happen often...) how surreal everything seemed to her, how the concerts in Europe had left her breathless at many moments and how the London concert had been the most emotional, while the Berlin one was one of the funniest. Even in the video message she leaves every month to the official UAENA she reiterated that Europe was a total surprise for her! I still can't believe I was part of this epochal event 😅 I think she will speak about it in the IUtv episode, too...

Great review and summary of the concert. I was also there and it was my second concert after IVE the week before and damm that was an incredible experience. Can't wait to see her again in the future. My favourite moment of the show was before the encore where the crowd did a fan sing a long to strawberry moon to call IU back, such an amazing and touching moment! With no backing track and only the lyrics on screen and IU joining in at the end, it felt like such a special moment.

I get what you mean about it being a sort of risk. Cause she has been on her "Love Poem" tour which was around asia. But as she said the European and American concert were all new. Some people posted that in her Berlin concert said thought the people in berlin listen to techno music and her music is very different to that, so she was nervous .😅

Yes, she said this in Berlin. I was there and it was amazing. She also told us, she would come back to Berlin "soon". Really soon. I hope she would go to Cologne also. Because this part of Germany are living the most Asians. And Aachen is a hot spot for Asian students. Düsseldorf next to Cologne has the largest population of Japanese people. When Blackpink played in Cologne on their Born Pink Tour there was no seat empty and it was the loudest concert I have ever been. And I was on many Rolling Stones Concerts.

I’ve been looking around a number of vlogs and fancams of IU’s EU leg of the tour to see what type of response she’s getting over there and it’s great to see she’s doing well. Also I’m very envious the EU stops got Love Poem in the en-encore. I’m seeing her twice at the tail end of the tour in California, so only a month left until then. I’ve seen so many kpop concerts in the past decade, but these two I’m so excited about and I already know they will top them all for me, since I went all in for front row lol It’s hard to believe after 12 years of dreaming to go see an IU solo concert, the dream becomes a reality soon.

Hey Ross. I saw you outside the Arena on Friday and was glad you managed to get to see IU. I was in S13 front row and although way back, it was still a great view. A lot has changed at this venue since I saw the Grateful Dead way back in early 1990s. It was all grass out in front then. As for miss IU, well out of all the 100's of performers I have seen, none have ever got under my skin quite like IU. And rock Holssi, well that was hardcore. I could see drummer Jim Seungho and guitarist went ballistic. IU is a real star who literally makes this world brighter, and there could have been no one more radiant to illuminate that very special, sultry Summer Solstice of 2024. @K-RossReacts cheers, I would have done,but at that time,I was struggling to get the app to log in and load the OVO ticket. Almost major panic, meltdown. But carefully squirrelled away passwords and a backup plan - AXS app, came to the rescue. Me and I-KE3 safely inside. :-)

It was so nice being around other IU fans, cause as you said you wouldn't normally find them in your day to day life in the UK. I remember during the Heart VCR and we all sang heart. And our strawberry moon 🌙 sing along event with the banners. It was incredible. I had to quickly run to the toilet after coin, cause I didn't want to hold on to my drink and I decided to drink it all at once 😞. I came back in time for the photo she took with all of us though. I almost cried during through the night, cause she looked so emotional. On the tube after the concert it was filled with ueanas which was nice,

I was also there and I loved your recollection of the evening, starting with the Shifties and the amount of Asian people just around the corner. I have seen The Rose (Korean, also in the arena earlier this year), but it was a ‘normal multicultural London audience’ So, I was surprised by the make up of the audience in London for IU. I loved it! What a wonderful experience.

I was there a section further back. I think you conveyed the awesomeness of the 3 hours. CBR track was London only. She does a different song related to each country. Often singing in the local language. I was impressed how well we sang pre-encore. There was another point in the encore ballad when the crowd singing seemed to overwhelm her. How can so tiny a person have such a huge effect on my tearducts. I didn't think the UAENA hole could be any deeper. No intention of climbing out. Hopefully next year there won't be Swifties making the hotels soo expensive.

In traditional Korean age IU is 32. When she recorded 23 she was 23 in traditional Korean age. when you are born you are 1, not 0.

The alternate ending to Love Wins All that was shown in the concert is actually the original planned ending...LWA supposed to have happy ending! However during the finishing of LWA, they decided its better to go with the tragic ending instead....and broke all our hearts😢😂 Oh, and the black paper that changes when you put your hands on it, thats some kind of thermal printing, if im not mistaken. The warmth from your hand made the picture visible.

Hey K-Ross, amazing vlog, thanks for the great work. It felt a lot like Berlin. She also promised in Berlin to come back. So I just hope its not like it was in Japan where it took double digit of years to come back. I already thought that an asian family holiday would work. And if there is an IU concert at the location by chance I would go there, while my family does sight seeing ;-) I would go anywhere in europe when she comes back.
