🚛. K & S Heavy Haulage, and Taylor Haulage, with a Liebherr 9600 Mining Excavator in two parts.

The Liebherr 9600 Mining Excavator undercarriage is being transported by K&S Haulage Mack Titan tri-drive D3065. With help from Taylor Haulage Western Star, as push truck.
The chassis is being hauled by K&S Haulage Mack Titan Tri-drive D3095. With Mack Superliner block truck, as push truck.
Missing is the rear counterweight on the Liebherr excavator chassis body, to lighten the gross weight.
The mining excavator is heading to BHP Mt. Keith nickel mine site, north of Leonora.
This oversize convoy, will travel the GNH, as far as Mt. Magnet. Then head east via Mt. Magnet and Sandstone. To reach the Goldfields Highway.

Passing by at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Bindoon.
Climbing Bindoon Hill, on the south side.
Down and up hill, at Long Bridge Gully.

This machine is pretty heavy, if both parts needs a push-pull setup. I like the "foreign" prime mover, she's a pretty Western Star. Is Taylor Haulage a new company? It's interesting K & S couldn't find a fourth rig and they needed an outside firm's help. Another amazing catch Terry, these massive oversize loads are always fabulous.

Great video Terry.... nice shots of both the lead Macks torqued up climbing Bindoon Hill 💪💪 and showing just how fast they can go on the down hill run.. poor pusher drivers pretty much just hanging on for the ride and keeping it straight.... cheers 👍

from what i could see, it looks like the 2 lead vehicles arent just macks but have genuine mack engines too. wheres the rest of the excavator? did qantas baggage handlers lose the rest?

Terry, do you know how these huge machines come into W.A. from overseas? Are they in smaller parts coming in on ships and then assembled in Perth maybe.?
