I think the glasses are for when your sanity is 50% or lower,so they wouldn't see your eyes and find your behavior suspect,because they lower your reputation when you get near them with low sanity and without glasses.

The first detail you saw will be used in thr future to hide bodies I asked the dev in the discord server and he told me that The second ,well actually if you joined the discord you were going to know about it before the updates (the dev always give us info in the discord) Plus the glasses are just accessories no more, they didn't arrest you bc only one student saw you and they don't consider that as a prove until there are two students who saw you
