Mine has the same problem

I can't tell you what kind but some clutches just rattle/tick. But it could also be your throwout bearing or pilot bushing I believe.

If you are hearing any ticking or metallic grinding noise but goes away once you press the clutch pedal in the bearing is making contact with the pressure plate at all times most of the times the issue is that the clutch pedal was not adjusted or properly adjusted after the clutch kit was installed so I would double check that asap as this can prematurely wear a clutch kit unit out. -Cub

With proper transmission jack you should be able to get it mounted no problem.

Did you replace the throw out bearing too?

@@codiecoons5410 Yes I did. But I found the problem. Somehow I messed up the spring that sits on the clutch release fork. It was not sitting in the right postion. So I had to take off the transmisson again. Was a pain in the ass but I also learned something lol

It would give you engagement issues I would inspect everything all over to make sure everything is good.

They were properly lubricated...

Yes light grease on the pivot ball and where the fork makes contact with the release bearing tangs 😎
