Does it matter if its a auto differential? Got tons of autos at the junk. I might go pull one and start this journey.

I'm using an auto diff in mine. The auto and manual diff are the same

Nice video and good info... but What exactly does the viscous coupler do? I want to pin/weld my 2003 cr-v rear diff and make it real time awd. Would I be able to do that by adding a viscous coupler??? Thanks ahead of time!

The viscous coupler allows the rear to slip a little, otherwise you'd wind up breaking your transfer case or something else.
