Thanks for the heads up where the issue is. Here’s my version: Have A51 on my desk for this same problem. Device pulls full amps when powered down and charging battery. Upon prompt to boot, device would go to Samsung “A51” logo and amp draw would drop to .38 amps on high powered USBC charger. No amp fluctuation at all. Solid .38 and solid logo that only goes away when battery dies off charger. Saw your video, so i pulled the board and then removed the sticker/shield. Found two underfilled chips and one large chip without underfill. Reflowed the large chip with steady low heat (300 c) carefully avoiding the underfilled chips. (No solder balls). Upon reassembly I now have boot! (Booted to pass screen). My guess is this won’t be a permanent solution and reball at least will be necessary. Getting passcode from customer for data before I move forward. Thanks for the tutorial and happy fixing!

thanks for sharing, it works! i didnt heat the USB part though which i suspect mainly the IC smd solder has been loosen. Keep it up on the good work. If you lack of the heat gun for soldering to heat up the chip, you also can use normal heat gun. But the most important is you need shield the camera part to avoid damaging it.

Спасибо огромное. Все получилось. Но не с первого раза . Сначала пробовал просто прогреть , без изменений. Потом прогрел эту плату с обеих сторон- опять нет результата. Потоп прогрел 3 раза . И почистил нижнюю плату очистителем контактов Liqui moly electronic spray. Начала показывать зарядка при подключении к пк. Сначала включилась опять эта заставка - перезагрузил на звук минус и кнопку включения . И через минуту телефон запустился ! Ура ! До последнего не надеялся на успех ! Спасибо автору !!!❤

my phone is charging and when i turn it on it stuck on logo then screen goes blank but when i plug the phone i can hear charging sound i can go to recovery mode and download phone i tried flash software but still the same problem. so could be the problem like ur dvice?

This instruction helped me fix a relatives A51. I have had some experience with reflows to laptops but I'd never done it with a phone. The professional phone shop was clueless but now we've got all the information off it that we needed. I feel a reflow like this is a temporary fix as it is with laptops but it did the job for now. Thank you EXPERT.

I tried heating the side shown in the clip but it didnt work. the 2nd time i tried the other side. and the 3rd time the original side again. each time with a standard 300 degC heat gun at a greater distance than shown (maybe 15cm) for ~40 seconds each time. Leave to cool undisturbed for several minutes each time too. Note: Remove ALL cameras from the motherboard and direct heat to the main covered shielded (Alu cap) areas on each side. (i used spare loose heat gun nozzles to mask and protect the other PCB component areas whilst doing it.) Finally i fitted it back together again and recharged the phone fully, then did the vol down + power button to restart then volume up with power button to reset the system cache in recovery menu, then reboot, all whilst connected to a laptop USB port. (initially it looked like it was still locked in the boot screen) after a while i saw the 'UI apps optimising' message before a full restart. I have managed to recover my files! Other people may want to perservere with the vol button options after the heating, plenty of tutorials on KZfaq for that part) THANKS SO MUCH EXPERT!!
