Trying to decide between a medium and large crate for your pup? Office dogs (and @doggoneseattle alumni!) Mando and Tsuki here to help! Even dogs of the same breed or breed mixes can vary greatly in size based on a number of factors like genetics, gender, etc. Mando the GSD fits comfortably in our large crate, while Tsuki the shepherd/husky mix is a bit more petite and is more comfortable in a medium. Can Mando fit in in a size medium? Yes, but it probably wouldn’t be the most comfortable for him for extended periods of time. Could you get a large for Tsuki if you wanted her to have a little bit more room to spread out? Absolutely! But for things like car travel a medium would be more appropriate.
