Swiggy, Zomato is worth when you order for 1 person with weekdays. I regularly order tandoori briyani in my fav restaurant in Zomato is 120 rs including all delivery charges and GST with offers. But hotel price is 180 rs. And hotel is also 3 km away from me. Even plate shawarma also hotel price 160 I got around in swiggy 110 rs.

I have seen this in swiggy also. I have swiggy one membership. But I saw major difference in bill for murugan idly shop, chai kings, kfc, vishranthi. Gst is less when you pay directly but they charge you indirectly adding more money as restaurant charge but we think it's gst. They already increase amt in apps and they charge delivery fee, plateform fee, restaurant charge and gst on plateform fee.

Bro, nowadays hotels are also preferring only online orders. They give least priority to offline/in-store orders. Once I ordered pizza in a 'Moolai' kadai, they took almost 30mins to deliver despite the fact that I was the only customer in the store. Ithu naduvula they delivered almost 5-6 online orders.

Guys if you choose wisely you can get it cheaper than shop. Choose the shop that has 120 rs off and order minimum amount order based on coupons. If you want to order for 3 to 4 peoples then order twice. For sure if you choose wisely its profitable

Delivery fee mostly go to delivery person, commission is tomato’s income, gst is questionable, quantity less when you take from tomato.

Delivery fee full won't go to partner. For a 400m drop partner get 15 to 20 rs.depends on peak time. Rest 10 to 20rs which customer pays also go to zomato..

If the drop partner don't want to "pay" the fee, he should find and take orders from the customers directly.

Nowadays people don't care about the fee and day by day persons are increasing only but the partners who deliver doesn't get the deserved amount. Anyhow this is noway a profitable business since the collect from customers and give to delivery partners, online support teams and zomato ownership.

There are so much costs involved than just food and delivery partner fee. These youtuber's who post videos just for "views" and their youtube income don't account all those stuffs. Even Rapido is running at loss. It's much easier to see a mountain but the one who climbs on it only knows all the hurdles.

All the features are like jio.. that is while jio sim was introduced many feared to give thier aadhar as proof to buy sim even though they gave free mobile internet.. but after sometime everyone around us had jio sim we started feeling us as fools for not utilizing free data.. once we lived with 2gb per month.. but now 2gb is not enough for a data.. so we get used to these once we cant live witout it.. same applies to swiggy and zomato.. although its over priced and qty is lesser for swiggy zomato than having it in hotel

I would like to a add a point on Feeding India Donation. The Donation they take is to pay India and show like they have donated and by means of this they reduce their taxes they have to pay. The Company has to pay from their profit but what they do is the donations are collected from the customers . I have seen this point some where maybe I'm wrong or right , but the practice is not lawful.
