શ્રીરામ સી સ્વિમિંગ ક્લબ પોરબંદર દ્વારા દર વર્ષે સમુદ્ર તરુણ સ્પર્ધા યોજવામાં આવે છે. આ સ્પર્ધા શિયાળાની કડકડતી ઠંડીમાં અરબી સમુદ્રમાં વહેલી સવારે યોજાય છે, જેમાં ઘણા બધા તરવૈયાઓ ભાગ લે છે. અહીં શ્રીરામ સ્વિમિંગ ક્લબ પોરબંદર દ્વારા નેશનલ સ્વિમિંગ કોમ્પિટિશનનું પણ આયોજન થાય છે. 7/8 જાન્યુઆરી 2023 ના રોજ અહીં નેશનલ સી સ્વિમિંગ કોમ્પિટિશન પણ યોજવાની છે..

1 કિમી 6 થી 14 વર્ષની કેટેગરીના વિજેતા
ઓપન પોરબંદર સમુદ્ર તરણ સ્પર્ધામાં 1 કિમી માં 6 થી 14 વર્ષની કેટેગરીમાં જયદીપ કીથોરિયા પ્રથમ, અભય છેલર દ્વિતીય અને વિજય મોરી તૃતીય સ્થાન પ્રાપ્ત કર્યું હતું.
1 કિમીમાં 14 થી 40 વર્ષની કેટેગરીના વિજેતાઓ
14 થી 40 કેટેગરીમાં પાર્થ ભાવિન પ્રથમ, સાગર ખોખરી બીજા સ્થાને અને વિક્રમ મોરી ત્રીજો નંબર તેમજ બહેનોમાં એકતા મકવાણા પ્રથમ, ભાર્ગવી રૈયારેલા બીજો અને નીતાબેન પાલાએ ત્રીજો નંબર પ્રાપ્ત કર્યો હતો.
એક કિલોમીટરમાં 40 થી 60 વર્ષની કેટેગરીના વિજેતાઓ
40 થી 60 કેટેગરીમાં 1 કિમી સ્પર્ધામાં બેવન મછવારા પ્રથમ, સવદાસ ભૂતિયા બીજો નંબર અને જયેશ પોસ્તરિયા ત્રીજો નંબર તથા દક્ષાબેન ચામડિયા પ્રથમ, ગીતાબેન સાગોઠિયા બીજો નંબર અને ભાવનાબેન ચામડીયા ત્રીજો નંબર મેળવ્યો હતો.
60 વર્ષની કેટેગરીના વિજેતા
1 કિમીના 60થી ઉપરની કેટેગરીમાં રામજીભાઈ દત્તા પ્રથમ, દિપેન્દ્રભાઈ પરમાર દ્વિતીય અને લઘુભાઈ સોનેરી તૃતીય ક્રમે રહ્યા હતા.
10 કિમીમાં સ્પર્ધાના વિજેતાઓ
સમુદ્રમાં 10 કિમી ની સ્પર્ધામાં નાવિક શિયાળ પ્રથમ નંબર, સચિન બલિયા દ્વિતીય નંબર અને હિરેન જેબરએ તૃતીય સ્થાન પ્રાપ્ત કર્યું હતું.

SHREE RAM SEA SWIMMING CLUB
Shree ram sea swimming club is a group of swimmers at PORBANDAR. The swimming club was established in the year 2001 and formally registered in year 2009. The club membership is irrespective of cast, creed, religion and social status. At present, members ranging from 8 to 80 years of age , are good swimmers, practicing all 365 days a year, even in rough sea during monsoon.. The group has about 150 members including 20 ladies. We have earned name in the sea swimming through out the state.
ACTIVITIES
• Since its inception, “Shree ram sea swimming club” organize short and long distance (upto 10 km.) swimming competition. We organize well planned competition for past 14 years.
• We also organize “COACHING CAMP” for sea swimming, every year.
• On Independence Day and republic day, we arrange flag hoisting program in deep sea.
• theyarrange trekking and mountaineering programs for members.
• Actively participate with the Government Agencies during natural disaster.
• We participate in Beach cleaning and environment protection programs.
• A cycling club is now established with active supports by our members.
• A kayaking club has started for the young members.
