Insulin injections are used for patients who have high blood sugar, which will help either in using extra glucose for energy or to store the same in the liver. In this case she was induced to high dosage of insulin irrespective of the normal sugar level. So in order to neutralize the same condition she should have something which has sugar content so that the insulin amount will be reduced. So she drank coke which had a high level of sugar in it.

Am a high sugar patient taking insulin also its almost 12 years that am taking insulin...also am 22 now... When my sugar level is high if I put insulin it will decrease my sugar level... If my sugar level is decreased I will take some sugar or glucose to increase it... So in this case she is a normal person, when a normal person takes an insulin sugar level is definitely decreased soo only she just drank that juice to maintain her sugar level...
