ठाणे के ठाकरे कहे जाने वाले एकनाथ शिंदे की इस बगावत के बाद उद्धव ठाकरे ने मान मनौव्वल शुरू किया यहां तक ये भी कह दिया कि अगर वो कहें तो मुख्यमंत्री पद से भी मैं इस्तीफा दे दूंगा लेकिन तब तक बहुत देर हो चुकी थी क्योंकि ये बगावत सिर्फ उद्धव ठाकरे से कुर्सी छीनने की नहीं बल्कि तैयारी उनसे पूरी शिवसेना छीन लेने की थी....... और इस बगावत में शिंदे का सहारा बनी बीजेपी ये बीजेपी थी जिसके झंडे तले उद्धव ठाकरे की शिवसेना ने विधानसभा का चुनाव लड़ा था लेकिन जब सरकार बनाने की बारी आई तो दशकों पुरानी दोस्ती जिसकी शुरूआत उद्धव ठाकरे के पिता यानि बाल ठाकरे ने की थी उस दोस्ती को उद्धव ठाकरे ने ताश के पत्तों की तरह ढहा दिया,,,,,,,,,,,
इस बगावत ने बीजेपी को फिर मौका दिया राज्य में अपना मुख्यमंत्री बनाने का लेकिन यहां बाजी फिर से पलटी क्योंकि बाल ठाकरे की शिवसेना से बगावत कर निकलने वाले बागियों के साथ सरकार चला पाना इतना आसान काम भी नहीं था इसलिए महाराष्ट्र बीजेपी के कद्दावर नेता और खुद महाराष्ट्र की कमान संभाल चुके पूर्व सीएम देवेंद्र फडणवीस ने प्रेस के सामने चौकाने वाले अंदाज में जब ये कहा कि महाराष्ट्र का मुख्यमंत्री मैं नहीं बल्कि एकनाथ शिंदे होंगे तो पहली बार में ये घोषणा किसी को हजम ही नहीं हुई क्योंकि कहा जाता है ना कि राजनीति में कब क्या हो जाए किसी को नहीं पता होता ये उसी का एक सटीक उदाहरण था ......... विधायकों की संख्या ज्यादा होने के बावजूद भी बीजेपी ने महाराष्ट्र में सीएम अपनी पार्टी का नहीं बल्कि बागियों के नेता एकनाथ शिंदे को बनाया
