The BMS will cut it at the designated voltage, regardless if you're moving or not. Under load If the voltage sags down to the designated voltage cut off the BMS will cut power. . Unless this uses a more sophisticated system in which there is a communication between the BMS the controller to where the sag can be reduced by cutting torque under load in order to maximize range during low capacity. I'm not overly familiar with this scooter in particular so anyone can correct me if I am mistaken

Nope, have a kaabo mantis se, 60v scooter cut off is 52v, its dipped to 48v and keeps going, after rebound it would go back to 58.8v.

Yeah I know I was actually thinking I need to get one while I was on that ride. I have one on my other scooter and probably going to put the same on the Kaabo.

A guy I worked with got killed on his motorcycle when a deer jumped out in front of him. There are TONS of deer where Jeremiah and I live in SW Pennsylvania.

I haven’t noticed any problems with range after that test.

There are a couple comparison videos. One of the videos, in the comments, someone wrote that the Mantis 8 was not built to last. A few things in noticed in almost all of the Pegasus videos- poor brakes that needed new pads constantly, screws and bolts that needed constant tightening, the “D ring” that holds the handlebars to the deck breaks almost immediately and a battery that some believe has cheap cells, plus customer service isn’t that great. None of these problems exist in the videos I’ve watched reviewing the Mantis 8. My gut feeling is “steer clear” especially with so many documented issues right out of the box.
