4 жыл бұрынThe word “Dhak” comes from the Austric word “Dhaka” included in the Sanskrit language. The word later became a part of the Bengali script. The dhak is a big membranophone instrument that originally belongs to South Asia. The dhak has become an integral aspect of the widely loved Bengali festival of Durga Puja, other Bengali rituals and festivities.
Here in this video the famous dhak maker of Bengal Shri Satish Chandra Das demonstrates the each and every step of the process of making a good quality dhak. He claims that a good sounding dhak can only be made through manual process and human imaginations, not through technological developments.

একদম সত্যি বলেছেন.....আমি তন্ময় হয়ে দেখছিলাম.... শেষের ওই দুটো শব্দ একদম মন ভরিয়ে দিল.... আমার নিজের ঠাকুর্দাকে যেন ফিরে পেলাম...উনিও একিভাবে পূর্ববঙীয় ভাষায় স্নেহমাখা গলায় আমায় বলতেন " মনা এগডু বাজাইয়া দ্যাহ্ "

একটা কথা আজকে শেয়ার করতে চাই আমি ঢাক বাজাতে পারি কিন্তু ঢাকের সম্বন্ধে এত কিছু হয় আমি জানতাম না । আর জানতে পেরে খুশি হচ্ছে। যতই হোক আমরা মনেপ্রাণে বাঙালি তাই দুর্গাপুজো আসলে কোটি কোটি বাঙালি এই শব্দটা শোনার জন্য একটা বছর অপেক্ষা করে থাকেন। গর্বিত আমি বাঙালি। এবং গর্বিত আমরা বাঙালী হতে পেরে।

`বাজা একটু ' শুধু এই দুটি শব্দ শুনে চোখে জল চলে এল, নিজের দাদুর সঙ্গে কাটানো ছেলেবেলার স্মৃতিগুলো কোথাও যেনো নিজের অজান্তে সামনে ছবির মতো ভেসে উঠলো।

একটা সত্যিই অন্য রকমের অভিজ্ঞতা হলো ভিডিওটা দেখে। একটা ঢাক তৈরীর নেপথ্যে যে এতো পরিশ্রম আর সাউন্ড ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিংয়ের জ্ঞান লাগে ভিডিওটা দেখার আগে সেটার কোন ধারণা ছিলো না। অনবদ্য প্রয়াস কোন সন্দেহ নেই। অনেক ধন্যবাদ।

Extraordinary! These arts and artisans must be preserved for posterity. Sadly most of the drums today are made of metal cylinders and not wood. Whereas these are made painstakingly and passionately. I wish these arts get state support. If efforts are not made to preserve the traditions, we will loose them for posterity.

দারুন, দারুণ, অপূর্ব । আমি অবাক হয়ে ভিডিও টা দেখছিলাম । বিষয় টা আপনি খুব ভালো বেছেছেন। ভাবিইনি এটা। অনেক কিছু জানতে পারলাম । এতদিন টিভিতে জাপান সহ বিভিন্ন দেশের শিল্প দেখে অবাক হয়ে যেতাম । এখন এই ভিডিও টা দেখে ওই সমস্ত দেশের লোকেরা অবাক হবে। খুব গর্বিত লাগছে । অনেক অনেক ধন্যবাদ আপনাকে এত সুন্দর একটা ভিডিও বানানোর জন্য । ঢাকের আওয়াজ টা হৃদয় ছুয়ে গেল আর যেন বলছে পূজো আসছে ।

দুঃখ লাগে যখন দেখি চামড়ার ঢাক আস্তে আস্তে বিলুপ্ত হয়ে যাচ্ছে আর তার জায়গায় ফাইবার দিয়ে বানানো ঢাক জায়গা নিয়ে নিচ্ছে।। এই শিল্প বেঁচে থাকুক তার সাথে এর সংস্কৃতি ও।। আপনাদের অসংখ্য ধন্যবাদ এরকম একটা সুন্দর ভিডিও দেখানোর জন্য।

This is what is called silpo and silpi. Just using age-old woodworker instruments, these pride of Bengal turn a simple tree trunk into a mind blowing percussion instrument. We enjoy dhak play during Durga puja but very few ever know who actually makes it happen. May God bless these great family of people and bless them with healthy and happy life. My sincere regards to the elder. What a simple person with so much knowledge to spare. Thanks to the video maker for bringing these forgotten people to the forefront. I will love to know the place where the video was recorded so that I can meet them in person one day.

আপনার এই ভিডিও টা খুব ভালো লাগলো,কারণ জানতাম না জয় ঢাক বানাতে এত মেহনত,তারপর ঐ ছেলেদের কঠিন পরিশ্রম এবং কি নিখুঁত ভাবে কুঠার দিয়ে কাজ,আর করাত চলবার আওয়াজ এর সাথে ঢাক বদ্দির আওয়াজ সুন্দর কম্বিনেশন।

Greetings, This is and awesome video of an awesome craft. There is much more than "technology'required for this,. It is also a gift and blessing. There is so much more in the finish and tuning of the instrument-- the selection of the leather for the drum surface and the tightening ribbons. Needs to be spread all over to students as part of knowledge and education.

অসাধারণ লেগেছে এনাদের কাছে আমরা সত্যি ঋনি। ওঁনারাই আমাদের সনাতন ধর্মাবলম্বী মানুষদের পূজার বড় অবদানের নাম। ঢাক আরতি, ধুনুচি নাচ আর সিঁদুর খেলা ছাড়া জমবে না আমাদের কোন পূজো। আর ঢাক না বাজলে পূজো এসেছে মনেও হয় না
