My favourite rajnikanth movies are >>> Thalapathy, Basha, Padayappa, Shivaji, enthiran, Kabali, Kaala, petta , Jailer . Kabali and kaala performance is lit 🔥. I don’t know why Tamil people doesn’t like both movies 😢. So understand. His career best performance in these two movies . Pa ranjith direction 🙌

Released in wrong timing, also 2nd half lag plus not mixing in the elements of what fans want to see in a Thalaivar movie may be the reason for the film not getting it fully potential. Personally I loved it

One of the very few Rajini movies in which the subject matter is the first hero. Other movies of that kind are, Mullum malarum and Aarilirundhu arupathuvarai, 2.0, Annai or aalayam (This is an odd one, but the subject of a Mother's love was the main purpose of this movie). That type of movies will have shelf life for many years. Because, people will watch those movies even if they don't like Rajini that much.
