I liked the way how the movie was in Omana's (Jyothika) perspective. And I think that's the reason why Thankam was not given much space and there is not much scene between Mathew and Thankam. Really appreciate Mamooka for acting in such bold character. While applauding him also remembering other actors who did this before including Prithviraj, Nitin Pauly, Roshan Mathews, Ayushman Khurrana, Rajkumar Rao. I just didn't liked how it ended, as it is shown as Mathew helping Omana on her next step, rather Omana should have decided it herself.

This movie does not focus on daughter.A 19 year old girl kid ' s mental trauma what she is going to face after the separation of her loved parents is not thought of. Omana character is worried about her needs after 20 years of marriage when child is grownup.Some lame excuses that she thought of her husband's future also. When she loves her family so much she should have avoided this decision after 20 yrs.With so much love for the family how can she live with an another guy.It can infered like this, just she wanted to be with her ex lover so she put up the divorce case.Highly contradiction,a prestigious family in a village Lady of the family behaving like this She is supposed to carry the family at any cost. Another contradiction how a father can tarnish the image of his son in the court where as he is the cause for this marriage Last contradiction in last, restaurant scene both omana and Mathew feeling upset when there are separated When Mathew breaks coconut for cooking shows the glimples of his character,nice guy supporting wife. In a village people will not support Mathew when city people got so much apprehension in this subject.So it is not true village supported Mathew and made his success . Leading actors like Mammootty should think twice before taking such subject.

The social stigma of the society which branded something as good and something as bad through social conditioning is the prime reason... If the girl is born and brought up in a society where there is no stigma then the girl will obviously doesn't gonna have any trauma after their parent's divorce...

He has a guilt and want overcome of it thus he used the chance.... They worried after their seperation bcz they lost the companionship or kind of friendship of one another... First of all, I am not against people who have same attraction or tans people. If anyone shows hatred to them should be locked up. I believe we should love them and help them through your journey. This film is based on the theme that "love is love". Well, I could start by saying that not all "love" is love. What about incest? Father loving relationship with daughter who are both totally in love with each other. Or brother and sister relationship, polygamy etc. These groups of people are ignored more than lgbtq people. Why does not anyone support their relationships. You could say its not normal and not real love. Their response will be the same as what lgbtq people make. "Love is Love", You dont decide our lives, etc Now to my actual response - 1. There are 2 main groups in lgbtq, Trans and the rest (gays, bi, lesb). In the West, gays, bi and lesb no longer support lgbt ideology because they are being targeted by trans. How? Trans are people who identify with opposite sex. (Biological male who say and feel they are female). But, gays (for ex) say we are attracted to males only, not Trans-man (female who identify as male). So, trans groups target and attack these gays, lesb, bi. So, when u support lgbt, you are actually supporting trans group and discriminating gays, bi, and lesb. 2. What does statistics show? In the West, hormonal treatment and sex surgeries are done to childern as small as 5 years old. (that too without parent consent) And when they get to reality there is no way to turn back. And these people are targeted very much because they now realize that this was wrong. These people are called "detransitioners". Why is no one supporting them? Sweden stopped these treatments on children after the negative statistics, because many people commit suicde in Sweden after 10 years of sex surgery (Sweden is the most trans friendly country in the world) 3. How do we treat people with "anorexia" (people who eat very less thinking they are very fat) Telling them the truth with love that they are not fat and that they should eat more. But this makes them agitated and angry. Doctors don't agree to patient's terms and cut up their body because they think they are fat, they treat these psychiatrically. 4. Effects on others. In the West (USA, for ex), a transgender can enter both male and female private places, like female toilets, locker rooms, play female sports (eg - Lia Thomas), drag shows in schools, etc Do you want your girl child in bathroom or in sports with men? Finally, love does not mean agreeing to their terms to make them happy temporarily and later they regret horribly like anorexia, love is to will the good of the other even it hurts them temporarily, but their life is good in long term. (like vaccination, truth sometime hurts initially) I know everyone want to help them, but we need to learn the issue more to actually help them, instead of listening to activists and media whose only aim is money. Hope it helps someone. Thank you
