Whys is it called "Kababayan"? The word "Kababayan" literally translates to "fellow countryman" These baked goods resemble the straw hats worn by Filipino farmers, who lifter them up in salute whenever they bumped into each other..

This is something new to me. I have not encountered that in the Philippines. Perhaps, I did not explore other option for muffins. It looks so soft and appealing. Thanks for sharing Ms Dolly. You're the best :0)
