Hi Jack! Glad that you are enjoying the compositions of Baal HaSulam (Rav Yehuda Ashlag) - the great 20th century Kabbalist - who wrote songs and composed melodies as expressions of his spiritual attainments. His music comes to us directly from the spiritual worlds, and has a deep emotional connection with the rises and falls a Kabbalist experiences in his coming into contact with spirituality. Many of his melodies are composed to text fragments from The Zohar and other Kabbalah texts, such as Bnei Heichala (words by the Ari), Ki Chilatzta Nafshi (words attributed by many to King David; others say the court of King David), Tzadik ke Tamar Ifrach, Chasal Seder Pesach, LeHagid ba Boker Hasdecha, and Kel Mistater. Baal HaSulam wanted his students to sing Kabbalistic melodies, rather than the melodies that people were used to singing. He thus took some melodies from his teacher, Rav Admor from Pursov, and also created such melodies himself and taught them to his students. More about Baal HaSulam at www.kabbalah.info/engkab/what_is_kabbalah/what_does_kabbalah_teach.htm Best wishes

i love this music, particularly Tzadik ke Tamar Ifrach. have been waiting for this upload for long. thanks kabbalahinfo. this is how this music should be presented, just as simple as it is, instead of ruining it with many unnecessary instruments. although i still feel this version is not the original one, i can smell some unnecessary and redundant instruments at the background.
@empowermph4 жыл бұрын
"i can smell some unnecessary and redundant" now edit yourself. are you being path of darkness or path of light, when your mind farts negativity like this? think delete your comment and start anew. speak positive light, otherwise say nothing.
@learlear11434 жыл бұрын
@@empowermph are you the maker of this music? did you listen to the original music created by baal hasulam? why do you judge this music is the original one? it could be classic, but i feel it is not what baal hasulam created. apparently there are instruments in that music that were not at baal hasulam's disposal as he was not a musician. so, they were added later on, they are unnecessary and redundant in my opinion. please watch your words. ask before you judge.
@LlamasAbound4 жыл бұрын
@@learlear1143 Any kind of arrangement continues the work of the creator. The string pad behind the woodwind does not get in the way of the melody, but provides a vessel in which to hold onto the light. It does well according to my taste.
@learlear11434 жыл бұрын
@@LlamasAbound agreed. but it lessens the intensity and the originality. every musical or whatever creation is a lesser degree than its creator.
