Well done, thank you. I would just quibble that the concepts we think the Ari originated certainly preceded him. Just one example would be that the Ramban discusses tsimtsum. The Ari championed the holy Zohar but he was eclectic in the sources he drew from. Besides Rabbi Yosef Gikatilla's Sha'arei Orah, Sefer Berit Menuḥah, sages such as Rabbi David ben Yehudah he-Ḥasid Rabbi and Rabbi Yosef Alcastiel. None of this to say that he didn't develop the wisdom in a wondrous way.

Hey Veronika, each individual certainly has their desires, but we also see that humanity developing as a whole, going through changes, chasing new ideas, wanting new fulfillments. This alludes to the correction of the individual and the complete correction of mankind called "Gmar HaTikkun" or "the end of correction".
