Wow, Kabhie Kabhie is a very beautiful movie with some outstanding dialogue delivery by Bachan Sahabh. I watched this movie with my first crush in 1979 when in grade 12. Having completed my High School I moved onto pursue my career in another region and few years after learnt that she was forced to marry another guy in the neighbouring village. I accepted it and moved on with life. Whenever I listen to this soulful song, Kabhie Kabhie mere dil mein khayal atta hae, my eyes are filled with tears and I get taken back to those yester years which had so many sweet moments and one that I have been remembering for over four decades. I comfort myself only to accept the truth of life.

I listened to this song in Sri Lanka during my childhood. I liked it since then. Didn't understand the meaning, I knew it was a love song, and today read the meaning online. That Opening Voice of Amitabh reading out the poetic Lyrics is sounding Great as it's a captive one. What a magnificent composition by Khayyam and a wonderful rendition by Mukesh Jee!
