I don’t mean any offense, but this is why cases in Texas are going up again. People here think covid 19 is suddenly over just because Texas is open and acting like things are back to normal. Many other countries and states are still taking the appropriate precautions and still have partial lockdowns in place 🤷🏻♀️ Sorry Paris didn’t work out, but maybe in July! 😂
@thesky134 жыл бұрын
I think this is indicative of why Texas, and the US, cannot seem to control the exploding number of Covid cases. In the news you mostly hear about angry Karens out there willfully and defiantly acting irresponsibility because of "muh freedoms". Kasey and Sydney are not willfully thumbing their noses at the strong recommendations to stay home and avoid unneccesary travel/outings - they simply were not aware of how serious the situation is. Sydney's zinger about cable TV, while funny, kind of really reflects how uninformed they were. Please stay safe and help us all stay safe, ladies.

However, you would have thought that the site they are using would have flagged that the European Union, Alaska, Hawaii, etc. were under a quarantine ON THE SITE itself...

And keep in mind that in an earlier video, Ms. Cassaday was in Hawaii on layover when the state started closing the parks and beaches, etc.; she didn’t have to do the 14-day quarantine as she were already there...

Don’t know if you’ve caught up to this but just in case, here it is. First, as of today, Jun 24, NY, NJ, Conn are going to require visitors traveling from Texas (& other hot spot states) to quarantine 14 days. Further the EU, (France included) is highly like to extend ban on incoming flights from the U. S. beyond the July 1 opening date. Just thought you’d like to know.

I live in the Bay Area (California) and everyone here is in a mask in public and all summer travel is cancelled, unless it is within a few hours drive. Even then, just take out, but not a "everything is open" mentality. I am not saying this is better, but is is so surprising that our reality is so different than your reality and we are both in the U.S. We had big plans to go to Hawaii this summer, but obviously that was cancelled. Life is just not normal now! Hopefully we will get a vaccine in the new year. Stay safe!

Ok, to be fair, I was supposed to have been on vacation in Paris right now had the whole virus not happened, but just too funny...and 🤦🏻♂️. As for going to the EU, the last news I saw a couple of days ago, Americans won’t be let in. Also, I think Alaska has a COVID test requirement or quarantine. Hawaii has something similar. Best advice, before you go anywhere you need to check what testing or self-quarantine requirements various destinations may have.

Wow! That park was super beautiful. And Snoopy was cute also. Even though y’all felt like “a box of rocks”, it was a learning experience and probably valuable to many people who watch ur vlogs. Mistakes r always good learning experiences. BTW: today, 6/19, Texas topped over 4000 new cases of Covid. So be safe because the state’s new cases are rising dramatically. Also, even though European countries have said they were going to open on July 1, many if not all are considering not allowing Americans to visit because as most countries in Europe are seeing significant decline in cases, they are wary of the significant increase in cases in the U. S. Further, if you do go, they are requiring a 14 day quarantine. That even applies to certain states in the U. S. Two Americans were arrested in Hawaii because they violated the state’s 14 quarantine law. So stay safe, stay healthy, and God Bless.

I have a suggestion for a video. Ask your non-rev followers what was the most frugal, unusual, or funnest one-two day trip you ever did and what for. Example; I flew Slc-Mco-Slc way back when the Powerball would hit $100 million only once or twice a year. "yes, I'm that old" I flew there, jumped into a cab to the nearest place that sold Powerball tickets, went back to the airport and flew on the same aircraft that brought me there. Or When I worked the ramp a few rampers and gate agents decided to fly to Hnl to lay on the beach for 3 hours, eat at a McDonald's then fly the red-eye back all within 24hrs. One last example, one of my fellow f/a friends flew to Jfk-Cdg-Jfk for dinner then came back.
