What Dolomites closed in winter? I was just there last weekend. ( I currently live in Germany) the slopes were full even though the snow wasn’t ideal. The mountain huts were full on party at lunch for apres skiing. We also go often in summer to hike. Such a beautiful area. Don’t be afraid of the bidet. It is just a sink for your nether regions. Straddle it, adjust the water temp, and wash like you would in the shower. We have one but I still prefer the full shower. 😂 We mostly all have dryers here in Europe. 😂 we just hang our clothing to dry often as Europeans are very environmentally conscious. Been living here 20+ years.

This brings me back! Italy is one of my favorite countries and Lake Como is one of my favorite places in it. But we went during summer so everything was open and even got to rent a boat that my husband got to drive himself. It’s such a magical place! Would love to go back someday! 😌

What a great trip!! You’ll have to go back in the summer and get to do all the things that were shut down but it was still so worth it not too crowded and great yummy food! My sleep schedule would be not happy with me good for you guys getting 12 hours in on vacation!! Thank you for sharing! I love the mountains and that would have been my favorite too! The church looked so majestic on top of the mountain too! ❤️🤍💚❤️🤍💚❤️🤍💚

Well, many things were closed for the season, but you basically had the whole countryside to yourselves. Sometimes having no crowds is worth some closures.

How cool! Skied the Dolomites a few times. Lake Como is where George Clooney and Amal live. FYI to drive in Italy you need a international drivers license if the polizia stop you better have one.

I am going to tease you guys But that trip had me laughing. Here is Our Trip.........Here is the closed church.......Here is the closed Cable car..........Here is the closed Restaurant............THe Pharmacies have nothing!!!!!!! hahahahahahahahahahaha........Not funny but........FUNNYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!! KFC BABYYYYYYYYY. No but you had Great food, Cool Places to stay, and Great Memories......I have been on a few trips with family and the time in the car seeing the sights makes the memories!!!!!!!!!

Yes, the rent sounds like it's cheaper than Dallas, but.... What's the exchange rate between the dollar and the Euro, and.... What's the average income at Lake Como? Taking those two factors into consideration it might not be cheaper in reality.

Italy is my favorite European country. You've got the best Non-rev spouse. He's the funniest and would keep me laughing the whole time. and at least he's down with driving all over the place. I think France & Germany have the better pharmacy's. Caudile is French. I learned about them 10 years ago because my sister is very much into beauty products. You should also go to Korea if you're looking for beauty as well. My favorite part is Josh rating the trip 8.6. the .6 had me laughing.... Safe travels

I think you rent an apartment in a complex back in Dallas, right? In Italy you might just rent the apartment and thats it. Besides Dallas has warmer weather throughout the year, but you get snow there as well right 😊 You really went for that two person cable lift? I’d recommend checking places you want to visit opening times before you go next time, though this was more adventurous 😂🎉 Would you say trip overall was a succes? Or will you come back in the summer? Italy can get very warm but also very crowded with tourists.
