I’m a 5 year superhost with airbnb. In the past I’ve been to places where they either nickel/dime you, provide one towel (like what happened with you) or they treat you like a criminal. So I decided to do the exact opposite. I provide closets full of towels and give most people the benefit of the doubt. If I can accommodate an early check in or an early check out - I do it without any additional cost. I just want my guests to be happy. With over 300 reservations, I can say I’ve only had like 5 stinkers. The rest of the people are great. If you treat people well, they usually act in accordance. So not all airbnbs are like the one you had. I also listened to the feedback you gave last video where you said the host didn’t give any notice for the yardwork and the workers asked y’all to go inside. I took that to heart and have now implemented a 24 hr notice to all my guests and instructed my yard people not to bother the guests at all. That was good feedback from you! Keep em coming!

The amount of hilarious one liners in the first 5 minutes is absolute perfection! So glad to see the dream team back on vacation again!

@KaceyCassady, as a long-time Sydneysider who lives quite close to Featherdale Wildlife Park, I was beaming with pride when you said Featherdale was better than Taronga Zoo (at 15:30). Taronga is owned by the State Government of New South Wales (NSW) and sits on some of the most expensive and prime real estate in Sydney (and probably Australia), whereas Featherdale used to be privately owned and run by one family and sits on a lot smaller block of land next to houses in an unassuming suburb (called Doonside) out in Western Sydney. Your comment really highlights that size or capital outlay really does NOT matter when it comes to being able to offer a quality experience: being able to physically mix and interact with some of the wildlife instead of just looking at them from behind a glass or perspex wall makes a heck of a difference when it comes to having a memorable experience. $90 to use the sofa bed is insane but in Europe I've had multiple airbnbs not make up the second bed in a two bedroom airbnb if only two people were booked. We started asking the hosts specifically to make up both beds before arrival. Don't really understand why you wouldn't expect both beds to be made when booking a two bedroom place.

Aussie here. Most of the AirBnB's in the CBD areas of Sydney and Melbourne are rented out by international students who then illegally rent them on AirBnB to earn money. They wouldn't have been the owners of the property. It is standard in Australia to have one towel per person for the week, we don't use a new towel every day but you can have a new towel every day in hotels

I loved Featherdale Wildlife Park also. We stayed at the Wildlife Retreat at Taranga Zoo and got to spend a night with the animals and enjoyed the scenery overlooking Sydney. It was my favorite part of the trip but was a bit pricey.

Of course Sid has been to Harrod’s!🤣🤣 She so bougie and I’m here for it!

Yeah ! I know y’all went to Sydney awhile ago but love seeing what you get up to so much to travel!! Omg can’t believe the insane price difference in Botox but I immediately started adding up the cost to eat stay the night etc😂too far to travel in just one day for Botox but if you’re already there definitely have it done!! I would have also been not happy having one towel seriously?? Especially considering I’m a one and done towel girly I don’t like crusty air dried towels 😂Hopefully they didn’t charge extra when they found them 😮The opera house is beautiful and the wildlife sanctuary the animals are so adorable!! I’m seriously reconsidering my future use of Airbnb. I’ve had what I would call an acceptable experience only 50% of the time, yet costs are now no cheaper than hotels and the service is poorer. Whether they like it or not, hosts are running a hospitality business and need to deliver a certain standard and accept the associated risks.

I loved Australia sooo much! You can hold koala’s in some sanctuaries. I held one and they’re so soft and lightweight. But seeing them in the wild is crazy!! Many in Melbourne

You are right about McDonalds being different in other countries. I NEVER eat there in the US but have in other countries. The ones in Rome near the Spanish Steps and Milan are special.

AirBnB is the most over rated hospitality option. There's something valuable about getting a room at a hotel and not dealing with a "host" and their demands.

Look for an airbnb that suits your needs next time. Also look for one that has a washer and dryer. Thats what we did in Sydney.

If you ever go back to Australia, you should go to Queensland and see the Great Barrier Reef. It is awesome.

Great botox price. I had an airbnb in Brussels that was suppose to have a washing machine. I messaged and they said it was out being fix but they gave us each one damp towel and one hand towel. The sheets were damp and the bed tiny. I hunt for extra sheets and towels. BTW, we had a 1/4 roll of Tp on the roll. Crazy stingy. Some host are great but hate sheets that are thin and have little piles on them. I bring a big scarf and use as my nice sheet. Picky but the prices we were paying you'd expect more. London next with Syndey.

I would think Kentucky Down Under would have something to do with caves. (And it's near Mammoth Cave National Park.)

I'm an airbnb superhost. I don't understand why hosts do stuff like this? I have a 2 bed/1 bath cabin. We sleep 4 in two queen beds. If we have 2 guests, they can choose to accommodate themselves how they want. Sleep in the same bed, great. If they want to sleep in separate beds, great. We have 4 guests max and the price is the same if you have 1 or 4. These upcharges are insane.

LOL, I half expect them to charge you the $90 for using the bed and extra for the towels. That's insane that there weren't even sheets for the bed or extra towels. That's the most BASIC of things to provide.

Sydney when she says "it's made up" she was so disappointed, I felt bad for her😂That ARB what a rip off. My cousin went to Bondi and it was her and two other girls they had a whole closet full of extra sheets ,towels,kitchen towels. The ARB girl asked that of they had ectra.friends for the 3 bedrooms to just make sure they left it clean..like take trash out throw all the dirty stuff in the basket they left. You and Sydney Crack me up.

I recently had the worst host at an Airbnb she tried to charge me for damage that were there when I arrived but I will give Airbnb credit when presented with the 106 photos with timestamp and address of Airbnb on them they made it right.Not sure why the host thought she would or could get away with it but I will say even though Airbnb made it right I was still very upset I had to deal with that so much so I am having an eye problem as it pertains to Airbnb I don't see myself staying at another Airbnb in the near future.

I have to disagree about the towels. When I get out of the shower, my face and body are clean. So one week using the same body and face towels is fine. In fact, hotels etc. that change such things daily? In my opinion it's a waste of money, time, and has a negative impact on the environment due to endless amounts of laundry. As an adult, there are certain things I've learned are completely unnecessary.

I hope in the future to visit Australia, however, the flight time to travel to Australia is so long, perhaps by the time I am ready to visit Australia the airlines are using a supersonic aircraft similar to the Concorde, which would reduce the flight time to Australia. Australia is one of my must-visit places. I seriously went to all the airline websites and started looking for roles in my career. Have now applied to the third airline. I want to do what I do for an airline so I can travel more!
