Traditional Bengali Pure Veg Recipe Kochur Shak
Ingredients
Taro leaves/kochur saak- 1 kg (washed and cut into pieces)
Coconut 🥥 ½ of a medium sized coconut
Bengal gram /chola/chana-1/2 cup(soaked overnight)
peanut 🥜 1/4 Cup
Red chili- 3
Mustard oil- 4 tsp
Turmeric powder-1 tsp
panch phoron-1/2 t spoon (It comprises mouri (fennel seeds), methi (fenugreek seeds), kaalo jeere (black cumin seeds), zeera(cumin seeds), and a typically Bengali spice, called radhuni)
Sugar-2 tbsp
Salt to taste
