I am a professional baker too. Right from beginning, I didn’t encourage the cake cut and distribution thing. As you rightly said there will be issue like this which is unnecessary for us and moreover we can spend that time in another order or with our family.

Hey hi , glad that you made a video on this topic. Very true , but never ever agree to do this cut and serve duty . Im also a professional baker .. i make sure to deliver the cake safely and even if they ask to assemble the cake .. i clearly tell my client that i would be at the venue for 1 hour for setting up and will never attend the cake cutting ceremony or have their food !! Im also an Architect by profession!! I make sure , i never compromise my respect, dignity and integrity. If we go for cake cutting / serving, they will automatically judge us and command us with works like .. “move the table, cut the cake properly, don’t make a mess while cutting.. etc” . Better to avoid these in the initial stage .. so that the client- relationship would be better and prevented. Thanks
