This is one of the best explanation but I was having a idea of Kafka. For someone beginners, you might want to give little background about streaming and how Kafka come as a solution and then this explanation is pure gold.

Great video. I don't know if offset was explained properly but from my limited research, it seems that it is the current position/index of where a consumer is for a given partition. This is used so that Kafka knows the next sequence of data to give to the consumer.
