I would like to make a question for K624i owners. In mine, when I switch on the reticle ilumination, when in the lowest intensity levels, the knob and rheostat act similar to a normal one with detents, having up to 3 or 4 predefined intensity levels, and after that, if I continue to turn the knob up, brightness increases in a smooth continous way. Could you please tell me if it happens the same to yours. Greetings

In this price range and magnification like +- 3-25/4-28/5-25/6-24 can you recommend other scopes or k624i would be the best choice?

Thanks for reviewing this scope. Strongly thinking of ordering one of these. Two questions for you. I've read that the parallax ring on the K624i is quite stiff. What do you think of that? It does look a little stiff in this clip. Second question, do you prefer this scope or the Vortex Razor gen II 4.5-27? Both are similarly priced and have similar features.

***** all controls on K624i are stiff, since it is made this way. Probably due to a tactical nature of this scope. Comparison with Razor HD is a really though one, since both are great scopes. Kahles K624i strong points are that it is lighter, has a little bit brighter picture and a little bit wider field of view. If you use right hand for parallax adjustment Kahles also has an advantage. Razor also however has some strong points and that are the locking turrets, bigger magnification range, locking turrets with more elevation, higher magnification. Though choice but a choice where you cannot make it wrong.

+OpticsTradeEU Kahles K624i , 2015 Gen III, has better glass resolution than Razor and even than S&B´s. K624i´s Gen I and Gen II dindn´t have better resolution than S&B. Greetings
Sorry, but I think this is not Gen II, but Gen III. I know cause I also have one. Mine has SKMR reticle, that only Gen III has. Greetings.

Oh my God how you manhandle the turrets like you was winding an alarm clock from the 1930's.. Doesn't even sound like a high money scope with that speed and force but more like a sheet metal toy with a winding key.. x/ I know it doesn't brake that easy but still.. A bit like cleaning a Rolex watch in a washing machine.. :D
