Mainstream media always portray China in a negative light, but when people actually come and experience China for themselves, they realize that in reality, China is totally different and is an awesome place to live and work. I come from Europe and ended up staying in China for 12 years!

I can't speak for the locals. But I've been to China 4 times, one time for two months, and I cannot describe how much I enjoyed it. I spent time in Dongguan, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Beijing. All amazing and very different cities. Superb public transportation, fun nightlife, HUGE parks, delicious food, safety, lots of outdoor recreation opportunities. The South felt like South America, if it wasn't corrupt and 300 years in the future. Very warm people, a lot of color, close families, and everyone outside relaxing and enjoying the parks.

Clearly the western media does not want that to happen, as Japanese people tend to have super negative impressions about China, the western propaganda is still strongly against admitting the good sides of China, leaving lots of people blinded by their deliberately midleading information.

You realize that's never going to happen when countries are quickly being overrun by midlestrners and hspaneks. Asians make up the smallest population in every nonAsian country and yet nonAsian "statistics" keep painting Asians as the "world's largest minority" 🙄It's absolute bogus. By the way society is heading, the world will be predominantly midlestrn/hspanek. And it's already happening.

I mean it's kinda obvious lol... the imperial capital of kyoto was literally designed after a previous Chinese capital, and Korean scholars were treated as nobility in Japan because they brought culture and knowledge from China to Japan during the Tang dynasty/heian jidai... and then, after the meiji restoration (and the failure of the self-strengthening movement in China), Chinese scholars like Lu xun and Sun Zhongshan went to Japan to study, and a lot of modern words in Chinese like science etc came from japanese...

@@YSFmemoriesany people in Korea and Japan seek to deny any influence from China. Karate (空手) was originally called 唐手 as in Way of Tang hand. Tang as in reference to the Tang Dynasty when martial arts from China were imported into Japan by Chinese migrants and presumably the origin of Karate. The name was changed in the late 19th century to deny Chinese influence and market Karate as purely Japanese.

The fact is that China, North Korea and Japan had a close and friendly relationship 10-20 years ago. These three countries have almost reached a free trade agreement. It was at the time when the relations between the three countries became closer and closer that a territorial dispute broke out between China and Japan (few people cared about those small islands in the past 70 years), and a dispute broke out between South Korea and Japan soon after. So no one mentioned the FTA after that. Then, Please guess who is behind this.

It is Japan that has occupied the Ryukyu Islands (Okinawa) since the middle of the 19th century, and let 70% of the US military bases settle on these islands. It's known all over the world. Moreover, UNESCO recognizes the Ryukyuan (Okinawan) and Ainu languages as currently endangered. I am a Khmer from France, but don't forget that Japan massacred in Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, etc... participated in the famines in South Asia too. At least in Mainland China, the Government is working to safeguard the languages/dialects of Non-Indigenous peoples who have settled in China ; representing today barely hundreds or a thousand descendants.

@@jrmint2 If the government wants you to like or dislike a country, most people will. You put money into your media for a narrative, the more money, the more people think it. It's really that simple. No one is immune to propaganda. And frankly the reason Japan and China's governments are so antagonistic is because Japan's government is controlled by the US, and they treat it as a military base to contain China. China's government knows this, so their relationship can't really improve as long as Japan doesn't really have its sovereignty.

我是美国人,然后我学中文和日语有10年,日本にも中国にも生活したことありますが、やっぱり中国の方が住みやすいですね。As a westerner it’s been a real blessing to learn about life through Chinese and Japanese culture and language. I’d say both have introduced new ways to think and live, and I feel most comfortable and relaxed in both Osaka and China 😊 currently I’m working in China and I really love the community here!! 我确实是被中国人的热情吸引了!!😂😂 ぜひチャンスがあったら、中国でも住んでみてくださいね!!❤❤

I don't know Chinese and speak only the very basic ones but I really enjoyed visiting there for a while and especially I love Chinese food and some shopping. I find it a bit reassuring that Chinese people seem to appreciate the effort of speaking all the basic Chinese phrases that I can without being so judgy. I understand that my country and China's government are not in good terms but I guess a lot of Chinese people are not the "villains" media or governments are painting.

usa don't like. they will sabtage. about 6years ago..there was suppose to be a east asian state forum China S Korea & Japan were suppose to meet to discuss more economic cooperations. USA sabotage it. Thaad missile & Diaoyu islands issue separate China & Japan. Semicon issues & comfort women issues separate japan & S Korea. USA knows where to stir to separate all east asian states apart. If east asian states start cooperate & work together. actually the west never want to see that happened, especially America. Look what happened to European union now, most of them American allies but now they're fucked up with energy crisis because of american foreign policy. America doesn't want any other nations or organization tried to replace super power status, period. Remember even american spies proudly wiretapped Germany, a trustworthy american ally and economic powerhouse of Europe couple years ago. Angela Merkel protested but got no further sanctions. Even america wished the downfall of Germany as economic powerhouse of Europe. So, take care what are the next plans of america to prevent united east asia
