These individuals might be random (lije you for instance) or handpicked by the scammers and could include influential figures or associates who are complicit in the scam. By ensuring that a few beneficiaries receive the promised benefits, the scammers aim to maintain the illusion of legitimacy for the scheme while continuing to siphon off the majority of the funds for their own gain. This tactic could deceive participants into believing that the scheme is functioning as intended, thereby prolonging the scam and avoiding suspicion from authorities or the public.
