Couldn't find this anywhere on youtube and the first 2 moves of this duel is hype so here it is.

why cant kaiba have ultimate dragon attack then lend it to yugi to fuse then attack another time with master of dragon knight?is the condition for lending a partner his monster for fusion the forfeiture of its attack?

@@haiku230at the time, a fusion monster cannot attack the turn it was summoned except by using a spell or trap card to enable the attack.

It's cool how Kaiba and Yami just wanted to end the duel as fast as possible, they knew Dartz wasn't an ordinary duelist or human and having the duel drag out, like it does after, was only going to favor him.

They had the right idea, but they still weren't ready for Kyutora and its damage-eating effect. That 500 LP investment Dartz put into it paid off so well, it's ridiculous.

@@haiku230 It delivered such a blast it destroyed itself, but didn't manage to defeat Zorc, I'd count it as a victory for Zorc as it was the survivor, but since it wasn't his attack which destroyed Dragon Master Knight, and Zorc wasn't shown to launch attacks that powerful, I'm not sure if I should.

So, does Yugi or Atem expect to be tag dueling with Kaiba regularly? There's literally no reason for him to have a fusion monster requiring Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, of which Kaiba has the only card in existence, otherwise.

This order of turns isn’t really fair is it? It should be darts first, then kaiba, then darts then yugi in that order

Aporia dueled the exact same way later on in 5D's. These are Irregular Tag Duel rules, where everybody starts with 4000 LP, and every player on the protags' team gets to take a turn in between either of the boss player's turns. Also considering how OP Dartz was, the turn order is actually 100% fair for this duel...

I honestly didn't like this filler it was good at first, but I feel like the writers didn't know where to go next so they BS in this duel. I mean the duel could of been over easily if Yami Yugi didn't choke.

@@cameraredeye3115 Yeah except throughout the entire filler after his first duel with Rafael was him overcoming that, and his darkness so it makes no sense for him to choke while finally confronting Dartz, and this whole BS with I have Infinity, no I have infinity its like really could have just brought back Exodia for all that mess

@@edwwardmarcos1887 No, his second duel with Rafael was him overcoming his own darkness and failure. The strategy Dartz used was different: after shoring up his defenses, he used the Mirror Knights to give himself a template to use Yami Yugi's own friends as shields in order to scare him away from attacking. I daresay Dartz would have used Mokuba as well (like Noah did), but the real Mokuba was literally standing right behind Seto Kaiba the whole time so this trick wouldn't work on Seto regardless. TL;DR Dartz executed a textbook "divide and conquer" strategy using psychological warfare, and it worked perfectly despite Kaiba not falling for it.
