Kaiba can hear all these questions from people on the ground while he's inside a blimp. Not only does he make the rules, he's omniscient.

In defense of these guys, Kaiba Corp was canonically a highly profitable weapons manufacturer before it was a card game company, so they probably got a bit confused when they heard that they were hosting a battle tournament

As someone from New Jersey, I can attest that this is true. This is why we're not allowed to have tournaments anymore. You take ONE sports team hostage and suddenly it's considered "morally reprehensible."

Honestly, Kaïba's first reaction when that guy asked about the nuclear weapons is exactly how I would have reacted in his place. And the pilot's reaction was exactly how I would have had to react if my best friend was in Kaïba's place (because he would have totally reacted the same).

I like how Kaiba just freezes when the nuclear option is discussed. Like he knows its not realistic but hes too scared to test them.

I like the fact that when the guy mentions nuclear weapons, Kaiba stops to think if it would be great to see if that happens, but when they really go nuclear, he is terrified as hell, I think that happens to many of us
