You must be a flood gate player. Imagine being mad the game needs many ways to balance out. We will not see many more monsters that can’t be tributed cause that simply makes the game unfair and not fun. Why would you want to build a board such as apex and not allow opponent to play? Where’s the fun?

@@babyswag7043 Did you not read what I wrote? My objection to Kaijus/Lava Golem/Sphere is that they’re such effective monster removal that no one even considers playing any other types of monster removal. I have slightly less problem with Lava Golem, because it consumes the user’s Normal Summon for the turn, but Kaijus are a pile of + Card Advantage w/ no downside. The Kaiju you Special Summon to your opponent’s field is Tributing/Removing an Extra Deck monster 99.5% of the time, so that’s an automatic -1 for you (The Kaiju user), and a *minimum* of a -3 for your opponent (If the Extra Deck monster that got Kaiju’d only required 2 material-monsters to make.) For your information though, the *only* time I ever play a Floodgate are a couple Gozen Match in my Heatsoul-Salad, because along with D D Crow, it gives you a fighting chance against Branded-D. Are you seriously suggesting that Kaijus are the *only* effective means of removing an Effect Monster that can negate? Please explain why having to use cards like Dark Ruler No More, Forbidden Droplet, or other Spells and Traps that accomplish the same thing a Kaiju does, but provides an opportunity for the opponent to disrupt said monster removal, is such a terrible thing? Since you accused me of being a Floodgater, I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say you think a card like Super Poly is absolutely fair and balanced. I don’t think *any* cards in a CCG should be unstoppable. I personally think Super Poly would be great, essentially an IP Masquerana for Fusion Monsters, *if* it didn’t have that shitty “Opponent may not respond to this card’s activation” effect. There are literally hundreds of Spells/Traps that are never played in serious decks, because a Kaiju the opponent can’t respond to, which gives the Kaiju-user a massive boost to card advantage pushes them into not-good-enough territory. Weren’t you just saying there should be many ways to play Yugioh? Gamaciel and the Moth Kaiju are literally in the top fifty most used cards in Master Duel. How is that not narrowing/reducing the # of ways the game can be played?

Kaijus remove the counters as a cost. If Kaijus didn't remove counters as cost, just imagine how broken Gameciel would be.

@@johnkarlosedotes3326 Radian takes the 2 counters as cost to activate its effect, so they couldn't chain Gameciel to activate since Waterfront would then have 0 counters during the activation of Radian.

@@part-e7344 naahhh. Radian cant take counter because Gamaciel is in chain link 2, it means Gamaciel will took the counter to negate Radian.
