seriously. your literal genetic code is being mutated and changed. your body melted into pretty much a humanoid goo, ears and a tail piercing out from your body, and a mask being formed on your face and glued to it. and for the slime pups, you literally become smaller which gets rid of some of your skin and changes your whole body structure. and to top it off, the protogens are pretty much robots (i think) so that must be EVEN WORSE.
