Thanks for you email. My question was specific to my requirement Load is 225 KW, solar on grid system under planning is 300 KW. Grid is not available. Reference voltage to be sourced from a 250 KVA D. G, set. To avoid minimum continuous loading of 30% on the DG set and saving fuel. My question was if I drop the idea of DG set altogether and opt for a off grid as power source what size/capacity off grid system should I opt for to service this load of 225KW

Sir when you go for your factory at least one reliable power source is very very important because when you install an offgrid you can run your online grid system but the challenge is suppose you want to run 250 Kw load at your factory but due to non availability of irradiation your offgrid as well as your ongrid system is not capable to give you that much power in that case your system will trip and this is very common. That’s why we told at least one reliable source

Sir ! बेसक आपने बहुत ज्यादा अच्छा विश्लेषण किया व समझाया निश्चित सराहनीय है , और जिसको भी इलेक्ट्रिकल्स की समझ है उसके लिये काफी सरल भाषा मे समझाया है । आप कहते है " ऑफ ग्रिड को ग्रिड के विकल्प के तौर पे इस्तेमाल कर सकते हैं । " मेरा प्रश्न यह है कि, क्या ऑफग्रिड सिस्टम ग्रिड की जगह काम कर सकता है ? मैं यह प्रश्न इसलिये कर रहा हूँ sir ! मैंने यू ट्यूब पर ऐसे वीडियो भी देखा है , जिसमे यह बतलाया गया जाता है कि ऑफग्रिड की फ्रीक्वेन्सी सपोर्ट नही करती है । कृपया बतलाएं सच क्या है ?

I am a technical person, your explanation is very good and informative. One major concern is when power fails, suddenly off-grid inverter power with phase difference kicks in.... can solar inverter sense that and automatically restarts again with 30sec delay or we should use an automatic changeover to mains supply and inverter supply.

In that case a 6 KW off grid system as a power source to supply a 50 KW grid connected system a continuous power to eliminate a DG set. will also not work if all of a sudden irradiance disappears and the complete load of 50 KW grid connected system gets shifted to the 6 KW off grid system In my case the load is 225KVA, grid connected solar system is 300 KW and to give continuous power to the inverter a 250 KVA DG set is planned. As suggest by you a reliable source other the the solar is essential to run the factory. If the grid is not available, an equal size power source is required, in my case it has to be a DG set of 250KVA. Your thoughts please.

No In case of low irradiation load will not shift to 6 Kw that we can control through PLC command but yes if irradiation is low your device will trip

It seems a viable option for using grid connected system where grid is not available and a D.G. - PV synchronization becomes essential. You have used a 6 KW offgrid system to power a 30 KW on grid setup. In case we have a 300 KW grid connected set up to provide for a 225 KW load, What would be the size of the the off grid system. What formula will apply

It's true and I have talked to them they will soon launch sunlight backup in the future for IQ 8 series of inverter then only you can use solar power in the day even when grid power is cut. You will also required system controller that they will launch in future.

In case we want to export power when the grid is available so how we can enable/disable zero export or which setting should we set? What I understood from the video is that, On grid inverter get prioritised in comparison of off grid inverter to power the load just because of CT on load side.

I already ordered an ongrid system but after the system arrived my vendor said that it's useless when the grid is offline. I live in town and my main reason was that I experience power outages, i already spent so much money on it and now i am being informed that it's useless, please tell me how can I utilise it when grid is offline,I asked them and they said that they will connect a changeover on the DC power generated by my solar panels and in case of an outrage i can simply route the DC from my panels directly to my battery pack through a solar inverter ( instead of going to grid side inverter). Is it a good solution?

What if there is no load on a phase, then zero export will make it zero on all phases ??? then How offgrid inverter will provide the supply ....... it will also trip????

Hybrid lagao na bhai...kya bakiti hai.....double panels kyu jagana..... off-grid wala damage hona he hai ...coz we can't control load.....and loads are not constant

Sorry but I think you have not read the title- this video is if you have already installed an ongrid inverter and you want to use the same inverter when grid is not available then how it can be done.
