I feel like when you break up, you should stop contact if possible. I know they share their dogs, but she doesn't need to invite him in to see her new house for example. It's too hard to move on when you're still engaging with each other all the time. Plus I think when you start to see other people, you shouldn't be in contact with your ex's out of respect to your new partner, unless you abolutely have to.

Breakups suck in any way you go through it. There are two sides in this. Who knows, if one of the two stop being intimate regularly, it will become an issue. That’s just one thing, and it goes from there.
