Trust me when I tell you he would've been ecstatic if he'd known that his granddaughter would get the chance to comfort folks at both his funeral and ongoing over the internet during their times of sadness and loss. I also think you may misunderstand what was happening at this funeral. This was not simply to mourn a passing, but to celebrate a life well lived & spent trying to serve the God he loved.

all these years later and I still miss Pastor Jim. I have so many distinct childhood memories filled with him. From him singing with his guitar at the front of our church sitting on the steps of the stage to be closer to us kids, his Donald Duck voices, his hugs, his laughs. Her eulogy and song were beautiful. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I came across it again today, August 12, 2020 and her beautiful eulogy for her dear grandfather is just as profound with a message that many need to hear especially now. How can you not believe in God when this amazing child have been given a special gift that only God could have blessed her with. This is an awesomely talented girl. Lots of presence for one her age. She has other videos. My favorite was when she sang "What a Wonderful World". I like the christian witness she is on this one. She seems to have a very personal relationship with Jesus.

Can she get any more sweeter? I swear I adore this child I will watch anything of her just cuz how sweet she is. She is so smart and talented and so full of love and so honest such a wonderful little child she must be for her parents. I can't believe people dislike this, she is speaking only the truth. I know cuz I lost my grandma last New Year and it took me a month before I stopped crying when I thought of her. It's hard but when you think of them as ur angel it makes you feel better

Kaitlyn floods us with happiness when she herself needed comforting, she's all give. If we're in tears imagine how her parents must have felt as she confidently took over the service with the story she wrote herself, her own prayer and that fantastic singing.

6 years of singing, and shes 7 years old. the most amazing gift any human being can be granted.

My Dad has been battling brain cancer for some time now and today he died. I found this video from another Kaitlyn video singing on a AGT. I showed this to my mom and other close family members, although we are very sad, this video seems to make my family cry in happiness. We ALL thank you Kaitlyn for such a good messege.
