In video we head to Nick's Aquarium Oceanarium Terrarium in Brisbane, Australia for a FULL store tour! In December 2023, the store went from 82 tanks to over 160 tanks freshwater and saltwater tanks, alongside a range of reptile and terrarium tanks. Betta display tank: Algae on the back glass ONLY and perfectly clean on the other three sides. This lets the customer know the tanks are mature while giving the best viewing experience for the customer.

just write a sign explaining why the sides are dirty, if its better for the fish its better to educate people. But from a storeowner view i see how the clean version signals dedication and probaly, to the new fish hobbyist, gives a better impression

My cousin lives at north lakes, I remember all the freshwater turtles in there having algae on their shells from spending a lot of time at the surface in the sunshine...I'll have to ask him if he knows where that shop is!

some green algae is very good for the tank keeps the water healthy. doesnt bother me at all. Also i like otocinclus they look like little sharks from the side and its funny how they behave, those are my algae cleaners in south american tank.
