FULL Aquarium Gallery Tour with the king of DIY

I'm back in Nova Scotia, Canada, all the way from Australia to visit the ‪@thekingofdiy‬ and his incredible Aquarium Gallery! Featured is his incredible planted Piranha tank, and 2000 gallon aquarium showcasing a beautiful red Arowana and MUCH more. But don't take my word - check it out!

Hi guys, my trip to the USA/Canada/UK has officially begun! There will be some familiar faces and some new - here is an Aquarium Gallery with Joey the king of DIY to kick us off! :D Also, I did originally had some footage touching the electric eel at the end, but I'm going to save that for another video as it was a bit long. I accidentally kept one caption saying to wait till the end to see it though... Apologies to anyone who got to the end thinking that was in there 😅

This tank to me is the tank of tanks Joey. This is my all time favorite tank ever and I am 63. Im loving the content and I watch Kaity also from Charlotte NC.

Great video! Joeys looking nice and in shape for the fight, i like his idea about quality over quantity as for the tank room, make a few tanks you can really enjoy and perfect to your need vs constant new ideas and tanks to impress the audience but tire yourself out and get bored overall

I have 75gal tank inspired by Joey's piranha tank with dwarf sag and cryptocoryne background too and honestly that dwarf sag is so invasive they are all over my tank and I'm also using a cheap t5 house light..

Awesome video! Looks like it was a really fun visit, so many really cool fish there! Favourite was definitely the piranah tank! There used to be a piranah aquarium where I went to uni and used to stick my hand in there to clean it. Everyone thinks I'm mad when I tell them that 😅 What was your favourite aquarium you saw there? Can't wait to see the rest of your video's on your Canada/USA/UK trip!

Hahaha, that is definitely very brave of you! My favourite was actually the piranha tank too. I absolutely love it, and the plants are so incredible. I would totally have that tank as a centrepiece in a house :) And thank you!! :D There will be lots of great content to come!

@@Kaityscichlids I miss that aquarium, was such a good setup, it had a really nice pleco in it too. It all got stripped apart and replaced with a dwarf crocodile or caiman of all things, and definitely wasn't brave enough to stick my hands in the tank with that in it 😂 The plants especially in that piranha tank were amazing, really cool to hear how changing the direction of the water flow affects it. The piranhas in a big shoal looked really good too and probably brought out a lot of natural behaviour in them! You should definitely set up an aquarium like that in your house if you can keep piranhas in Australia as a centrepiece next to the cichlids! Will definitely make sure to watch your upcoming videos, really interested to see where you go in the UK. Really should try and make some more videos on my own aquariums, you got any tips for filming aquariums and fish?

Hello great video, thank you! Sign should say Shazam when the eel shocks. It is good not to over feed to increase size. I keep Fancy tail goldfish and I don't over feed to increase size. It is not good for them. Thank you-

What's your plan for the UK? My local fish store, Maidenhead Aquatics, has a soft play area, and there are mmm... a bicycle shop and a trucking company nearby. All cool stuff. Everyone would be thrilled to watch it! And it's only 35 minutes from Heathrow.

good job nothing needs to be maintained dont fancy trimming the plants weekly in a Piranha tank "Electric cool aid acid test" for the eel sign and the fish get spread around the world when ships take on seawater for the ballast tanks and take young fish or eggs into the tanks and then empty them at another port when they take on more cargo

It’s not like the piranas will bite your arm of if you stick an arm in the aqyarium. They’re actually quite nervous fish, so if you start trimming the plants they would most likely stay away.

I have an electric catfish and they also produce high voltage. I think they are just below electric eel with 400 volts. From the mighty Congo. They also have small eyes but white ones. Also eat shrimp. Will grab finger and shock me.
