Kaizer Chiefs lost to Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday afternoon in the opening fixture of the DStv Premiership.
Sundowns were extremely dominant in the game and had all the possession throughout the encounter as the bossed most of the encounter. Sundowns scored the opening goal through new striker Peter Shalulile in the first half.
Chiefs conceded more goals in the second half as Kermit Erasmus and Themba Zwane joined the scoring party. Masandawana should have scored more than just 3 goals, but that is how it ended with Chiefs losing the opening fixture.
iDiskiTV analyst Junior Khanye believes that Lebogang Manyama and Bernard Parker gave nothing in the game to Chiefs.

Can't you and Junior, speak English, I am sure not everyone is a Zulu speaking or understand the language. Will you alternate languages or use English. Junior might be right but what he's not mentioning is the absense of key players and the fact that we're still waiting to hear from CAS on the FIFA ban issue, otherwise he's on point. I just think we need to bench Parker, Manyama, Katsande as they won't offer us anything going forward and rather give Mashiane, Sifama, Blom and Stash a chance to play alongside Ngcobo.

Junior Khanye's post match analysis is far much better than those we see on both SABC and Supersport. No sugar coating at all. Keep it up Junior. Some Chiefs fans might hate you for your brutal truth because they are in denial. The Motaungs are very stingy yet they get tens of millions from Vodacom every year. All round quality analysis from Junior here as always. I have to disagree on the Khune point - he was terrible today. He's not been in good shape for a very long time. He is not a victim of poor defending... he's a key component of Chiefs' disastrous defence.

I also expected the same. When Baxter started at Chiefs, he lost 4 - 1 to Sundowns but he won the league that season. Hunt was just experimenting in this game. Watch out the way forward
