Wunderschön & vor allem Wohlgerecht ausgestattet. Gefällt mir sehr gut! Ich vermute stark, dass Du die Äste/Stöcker zum sitzen selber sammelst. Sollten diese direkt vom Baum gesägt werden oder sind die, die auf dem Boden liegen okay? Sollte man die dann behandeln, bevor man sie seinen Fliegern zur Verfügung stellt? Habe mal was von Krankheiten/Parasiten gelesen

Dankeschön! Wir nehmen alles direkt vom Baum. In der Badewanne einmal heiß abduschen um kleine Spinnen etc. los zu werden, hat bis jetzt immer gereicht.

Fresh fruits and vegetables all 2-3 days. Daily seed mixes for big parakeets. In total a huge variety. Just finished a new video with a carrot.

I actually put a whole friggin tree in the room and decorated it with seed-filled cones. at Christmas, there was no more tree. they took all the needles and destroyed it. They had some hell of fun!

These are healty (Nordmann-Tanne). The birds get them from time to time. But as always, look for organic stuff and a good variety of foods you offer

Is it save for parrots to use these tree branches? Aren't they toxic for them?

Not toxic. Just check that they are organic and not covered in resin. Resin could stick to the feathers.

@@MarcBomber oh thank you :3 There is a lot of desinformation when it comes to parakeet feeding. There is a big list of "toxic" trees for parrots and it is hard to tell where is the truth

It's safe depending on the kind. Also, I'd recommend Nordmann fir. Organic and the fewer resin, the better. Mine go nuts and sleep in them over christmas.

@@MarcBomber Wie funktioniert das, reißen die sich nicht die Köpfe ein? Habe bisher nur Grausames über die Hübschen gelesen, vor allem über die Hähne.

@@LaikaZima das Futter macht den Unterschied. Füttert man zu viel und zu fettig, kommt Brutstimmung auf. Deshalb keine Nüsse, wenig Sonnenblumenkerne und dafür viel Obst, Gemüse, Saaten und leichte Körner wie z. B. Hirse.
