In hindsight, Kakashi is too experienced of a ninja to not double tap Zabuza before handing him over to Haku. Then again he was exhausted and he did seem dead when Kakashi checked his pulse.

I was kinda thinking the same thing. Even approaching him and checking his pulse would be risky/pointless because zabuza could be faking, but he hit him with the kunai before so I guess he was already incapacitated

its also possible that he didnt want to trigger the kid, as him attacking the body could be seen as him trying to steal something from his body. and also, he might've figured the kid wasnt alone, so it was best not to anything to raise suspicion. finally, he was exhausted, so its also possible he wasnt thinking things through and just took it at face value, since he was already holding on to not pass out.

@@marcosdheleno I agree with the first paragraph too but the last one I’d have to disagree with. Kakashi is definitely way too experienced, having fought in the 3rd ninja war and being an Anbu captain at age 12, for exhaustion to be an excuse.

@@jabba2072 the thing is, it does make sense that he wouldnt notice that kind of thing due to exhaustion, since exhaustion has the same effect of alcohol in your body. so he was probably not thinking straight, and ended up just going with it there because of it.

Its funny how they spend so mutch time make hand signs to make dragon water jutsu and before they didnt. Like shidori wen need signs and after sasuke dont need anymore

It's because Zabuza was trying to see if Kakashi can copy the actual signs among the fake ones and follow through with his copy techniques.

They're introducing the idea of hand signs for the first time. It's got to be slow so people get a good grasp of what's going on.
