Noodles scales things based on either little information or outliers (his assumption that Kakuzu beat the 2 tails) by showing Hidan say that Kakuzu is normally the doer. Thats fine, but it does not apply to tailed beast fights. That was their first encounter with a jinchuriki, and all we saw was that Kakuzu was quickly pounded. I would contest him by saying Hidan made that statement due to being suprised by the fact that he had to win the fight. The evidence for that is that his ritual was complete. Without his intervention, we have no reason to believe they would have won. Even if it was Kakuzu, we know he had assistance. So Kakuzu alone cannot get full credit for the win and be scaled alone as if he was the sole contributor. If they were true rivals for jinchuriki, they would not need teams. The person that actually got the blood does not matter. The person that got the blood does not have to be the person that did the damage. Noodles tried to assert that Kakuzu could have gotten the blood, to imply that Kakuzu did the damage. That is sneaky, but doesnt matter. Neither side can be proven more likely, because it is 50/50. That point should be dropped. Noodles left the debate because Batman refused to drop the narrative argument. He cannot win that argument. He will never be able to win the narrative argument unless Kishimoto directly says he did not intend Pain to be the "Final Boss". The final boss is the big threat. Pain was the final boss in that arc. Noodles used the whole Tobirama mark as an excuse to leave. That wasnt relevant to the debate at all. You could liken Kakuzu/Pain to Orochimaru/Kimimaro. Orochimaru is the real leader, but was giving orders during that arc. He was not a combatant. Kimimaro was the threat. That reflects the role Obito played. If Orochimaru stepped in, the Konoha 12 would be dead and the Naruto storyline would be over. If Obito fought Naruto at that point, you have the story ending. Kakuzu was a warm up round for Naruto. Kakuzu is technically multiple entities (the hearts) similar to pain. Naruto had to be shown that his new technique alone was not enough, so he got STRONGER to fight pain. So, obviously, Pain is far superior to Kakuzu.

Noodle's points and arguments were not very concrete, his argument about Yugito's tailed beast bomb being multi-continental doesn't make sense because kakuzu was never shown taking a tailed beast bom. And Shinra Tensei can negate all taijutsu and ninjutsu, this includes Kakuzu's Diamond Morph, and the Paths are all physically capable of harming him, and it's arguable if Kakuzu can even damage them with his physical attacks and his masks get negated very easily. The Human path took a direct hit from Sage mode Jiraiya to the face, and was still capable of fighting and blocking Jiraiya's sage mode attack that sent a multi ton rhino flying. And Kakashi had to to rely on Raikiri to even damage them. So yes Pain stomps Kakuzu very easily.

Noodles stayed uncharacteristically calm, thinking it would be an easy W. When that wasnt the case, he steered the discussion so he could get out without admitting defeat.

Don’t use the “If I make a character” argument…If you create a character who has only shown feats that place him at city level and not car level you as the creator possess the authority necessary to just say “Car are stronger than cities in this verse.” So despite them taking up significantly less space it could still take more force to destroy.
