If you read the first Aghora book Vimalananda covers a lot on devi. Especially Tara and Kali. He says to study the different forms of Ma and get to know her. From what I can gather there's different forms of Ma for different reasons for the devotee. Kali and Tara help you really fast, but they will rearrange your life in the way they see fit. They care about their son's and if you call on them they will respond, but you better be ready for intense feelings and vibrations. Durga Ma is the epitome of all the male devatas and female devatas. She goes by different names in different areas. The different facets help different people at different times. If you haven't read the Aghora books, I highly recommend them.

@@helenmadamrose306 I personally feel like they view Durga Ma as the universal Mother for everyone. I've heard tantriks say that if you're not a tantrik practitioner it's harder to connect to the fiercer forms especially Kali and Tara. Even though they do have less fierce forms and anyone can on some level connect to them. They say Durga is the mother that is the fiercer side of Ma for everyone not just tantriks. So I think Durga is just viewed more as for everyone on any path not just exclusively for tantrik practitioners. Either way I'm gonna do what I can on my own path. I have always been fascinated with the left hand path. Really all paths, but the left is very interesting. I in some ways hate labels and religious categories, but it helps to categorize things and explain them. I have been more and more attracted to Ma as of late. I have been finding a love that is very beautiful. Life is such an interesting journey and I thank God everyday I have found the path I'm on. Not everyone understands it, but I don't care.
