Hello, I'm a fellow Sahara lip haver and can recommend the lip clay formula. Kaleidos lip masks are also awsome! I apply a thin layer before I start my makeup, giving it time to sink in a bit before I apply the lippie. Good old vasaline works as well though. If you've ever tried Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream, the formulas are comparable 😊

@@hazardsigns Thanks for that information. Nyx is available here in Australia and easy to purchase. As I live many hours outside of a large city, all of my make-up is purchased online. I don't import unless it's a product that is Limited Edition or something I'm desperately wishing for. I received a sample of Maybelline's Super Stay Matte Ink. Guess who didn't read the label and thought it was just gloss? Anyway, after the shock of what I was applying died down, I evened it out on the lips and it actually set fairly fast but didn't dry out my lips at all. I hadn't been out of bed for long and nothing had been added to my lips to moisten them when this parcel arrived with this added sample. So, my lips were dry to start with. I had no liner on, yet ran my Dior Universal Lip Pencil around the outer edges. This product stayed put on my lips for well over 12hrs without budging!!! I didn't even need to re-touch. Eventually, I added some gloss but it never moved despite me eating and drinking. Definitely a surprise! When I've finished paying for my PML and Burberry splurges, I will try this Nyx one and the full sized Maybelline as they're from the same retailer. I'm afraid that Vaseline doesn't even work for me, nor many lip oils. They tend to sit on the surface and not sink down. Dior has been the best so far plus the Algenist Lip Collagen and MAKE UP FOR EVER Ultra HD Lip Booster. So many brands have liquid lipsticks now but so many tell me to stay away from them as they will only dry my lips more. Well, after trying this sample, I know this is incorrect. I appreciate your time and look forward to trying these out eventually.💖

@@krisushi1 Yeah, vasaline tends to sit on top of my lips too. But if I don't have it there, my lips crack and peel 😭 Nyx has some funky colours, but if you like a soft mauve colour, I'd recommend Tolouse. There are loads of swatches online though, as the product has been a staple for years. I'll have to keep an eye out for the Maybelline lippie over here. Sounds promising 🤞🏻

@@hazardsigns I've had the same problem with my lips cracking, peeling and bleeding throughout my life. It doesn't make sense as I had oily skin into my 30s! Ever since I discovered the Algenist Lip Collagen and the MAKE UP FOR EVER Lip Booster, I haven't had these problems. Then, when I bought a Set of Lip Products from Dior that included the Serum, Glow Balm and a small Maximiser, that changed everything! I may be onto another good thing as today I received a gloss/balm from Natasha Denona called Lip-O-Phoria (?). There were some products at less than half-price that I thought I'd try. I've been wearing this gloss all day and only touched it up once or twice. My lips looked plumper too. After suffering for so long, I'm finally enjoying lip products! I hope something helps!!💖

Oh I decluttered them all after getting these already, I'm so sorry! If you have all the nude ones they are similar, I prefer these newer tones on me though, I find they are slightly more cool tone leaning so suit me better 💗💗
