Күн бұрынComing in hot is a new Kaleidoscope LP out on Toxic State Records. Very fitting for the label I'd say! I've listened to a few of their other records here and there but I managed to catch them at Damaged City Fest this year and thought they were amazing, had to grab a shirt. This NYC band has a pretty unique style of punk going on, I really dig the title track and the 2 songs after it, check it out.. Their European tour with Nosferatu starts tomorrow in Copenhagen, both bands are out supporting their new records so go see em and buy all their stuff

You know, fun fact: Mr. Bean beat a guy to death in sync to the rhythm of this album. The dude was already dead halfway through it, but Mr. Bean just kept pummeling him mercilessly, not missing a snare-beat. It was something to behold honestly, I was mesmerized by the sheer horror of it all. I just couldn’t look away, I was afraid I’d be next but I was just frozen there. I just couldn’t stop looking at the blood bath.

I was there too and with some of the other witnesses, we started a group therapy, it's been a while but we're making progress. You can come meet us at St-John's church every Friday at 6PM.

Probably my favorite band i've heard in years. They came through texas 4 months ago to play a "fest" but i couldn't afford to go. I love their sound. Totally fresh but old school at the same time. Super creative and atmospheric. Love it!

I've said this on other No Deal videos, but the music he's/you're putting up is kicking my ass. This is superb! I hear a Black Flag vibe in this band, but way different, creative, unique, abrasive, brutal. Wow.

Damn these guys are cool, hope to check them out live one day. Also how do you find out about shows? Im only really able to find shows for the old school bands. (I live in SoCal so thats really not a problem.) I dont really have any friends that like this kind of music and i dont fuck with social media, Im open to it though.

honestly facebook might be one of the better places. if you find an event for a show, somewhere on that page there will be a section called 'related events' and there's usually a bunch of others in the same realm there. record stores have flyers for gigs by their windows and stuff too

I dig most everythin that No Deal posts, but I cannot help but notice a lotta these latter-day punk combos have very uninspired names. I mean, Kaleidoscope? Sounds like some drippy Summer of Love act. Incense & peppermints dudes (or, if yer me, burning latex & Vicks VapoRub...). How about Stamens n' Pistils...? That'd be a name! 🦃😬🦃😬🦃😬🦃😬🦃
