Not sure if you are asking about the repos not connecting or if the Terminal command is not accepting your command?

Why not use persistence so the stuff you install doesn't go away?

You could format usb with persistence, just keep in mind sometimes those usb sticks fail , especially cheap sticks . But Thanks for your input 👍
