Kali River Rapids REOPENS at Disney's Animal Kingdom! Lunch at Yak & Yeti, Tigers, Rides & More!

Join us for a splashing fun day at Disney's Animal Kingdom! We visited on the day that Kali River Rapids reopened from a multi month closure, and after the ride closing multiple times we finally got to enjoy getting soaked and enjoying the refreshed theming! We also enjoyed a delicious lunch at my favorite place to eat at Animal Kingdom, Yak & Yeti Restaurant, and dried off with a thrilling ride on Expedition Everest and a little trans-dimensional joy ride on Dinosaur! We also got lucky with seeing water buffalos, tigers and bats on the Maharajah Jungle Trek! A gorgeously sunny, bright day with full on spring break crowds, some ride malfunctions, animals, rides, great good, and all in all a perfect day at Animal Kingdom! What was your favorite thing we did?

Yak & Yeti is one of my favorite restaurants at the parks and it just so happens to be in my favorite park! My family always make reservations to eat there. ❤ thank you for taking us on a new adventure. 🌳 🐘

💦 Splashing good time at Animal Kingdom. Wild Rides and animals, can't beat that😁 Khali River Rapids looks fun😅, but I don't do good riding backwards Rides, so I might never ride it because of motion sickness😢😅 However, glad to see y'all enjoy it, looks fun😊. Why don't _I_ have a water buffalo?” 😂 Kali is my kind of water ride because the theming in the queue is incredible and you can get a bit wet, but you very rarely get _soaked_ - although, there’s always the off-chance of that “powerslide” y’all did, and you definitely do not come off the ride dry if you wind up on the wrong side of that exchange 😜 Carnotaurus looked like he was asleep on the job! Haha looked like a great day in our favorite WDW park! Thanks for taking us along! ✨

hahaha yea all the Dinos seemed a little sleepy this day lol!!! And I do sometimes wish Kali had more splashes, but it's also nice that it's just a few so you know you probably won't get tooooo soaked. But great theming and always fun!

Yak & Yeti is probably our favorite lunch spot in all of WDW. Our mandatory tradition is to order the "Yak Attack" frozen mango/raspberry drink.

Good morning Jackie, Sam & everyone! What a beautiful day! I love that you always meander around the Oasis like it was built for! I was a CM when they opened Kali. Of course CMs are the guinea pigs and I ended up stuck in one spot on it for like 20 minutes after hours before it opened. Just kept spinning around and didn't go over the ledge. 😂 Thanks for bringing back memories. ❤ -western NY Aimee

I love Everest!! I could literally just ride it all day over and over. Haven't been on Kali in years, we were prepared with ponchos on but we were lucky and didn't get wet.

Great fun video, Jackie 😎 One thing I do for splash rides here on the West Coast is to pack and change into flip-flops before the ride and change back to my dry and warm shoes after because the worst for me is wearing wet shoes and socks while getting a blister toward the end of the day.

A great day at AK🎉❤ I always enjoy Spring at the parks before it gets hot out! We had an awesome day today too! We did the monorail crawl. Saw the Easter eggs at GF😍 We also went to the Fall Out Boy concert last night ❤ So fun! And tomorrow we are going to try to do the Raglan event🍀

The circle shaped raft turns the whole time, so sometimes you’re facing forwards, sometimes backwards. You can’t really control or predict it and it changes.

lol! Hard to say why, kids cry for all sorts of reasons. Sometimes they cry and then right after they want to ride again 😂 I don’t always want to get wet on rides either, it has to be the right mood lol!

Wow, what a nasty comment. Tell me that you hate children without "actually" saying it. You were not personally there to witness what ACTUALLY happened. My kids always wanted to go on "big" rides and sometimes cried because they got scared once on there. It's obvious that you don't have children. I'm sure you don't want a, "kid"

My son insisted on walking the Swiss family Robinson Tree I told him it's higher than you think he insisted. So we took him halfway around he started to freak out but had no choice to continue. Kids freak out after they realized what they have done

Fun! I ate outside back in October when a pelican jumped up and took chicken from my salad. I recommend never to eat outside. Did you see Adam got stuck on the ride.

omg too funny, a pelican!!! I didn't see but he told me, the ride kept going down all day so lots of people got stuck. Crazy for re-opening day after being closed and refurbished for it to be doing that! Glad it worked smoothly when we rode, we had so much fun and it worked out so we could enjoy a nice day enjoying the park!
